Remarks

To take admission in GLA University, you should pass the entrance exam of GLA known as the GLAET Exam and your 10+2 percentage should be 60 %. So go to the University portal i.e. gla.ac.in then fill in all the necessary details that were required.

Course Curriculum Overview

GLA University provides more than 93 courses. There are more than 12000 students in which 5000 approx are hostellers. Gla provides 11 student clubs on the university campus. So BTech is 8 semester degree program then in a single semester you have to pass 2 exam 1. Midterm 2. Endterm

Internships Opportunities

Many companies provide internships to the gla students to work as an intern. They provide many facilities to the students such as work from home, etc. Also, University regularly sends an email to the students

So, from the 7th or 8th-semester students are able to sit in the company placement drive. There are many reputed companies visited to give placement to the students like amazon, Microsoft, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, etc. The highest Offer is 32 lakh per annum from amazon. I suggest that all students should make their percentage or cpi more than 7.5

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fees for B.tech Computer Science and Engineering is 168000 per year or you have to pay it in two terms i.e. semester wise. So scholarship was provided to the top students who secure percentile in JEE joint entrance exam

In gla, there are 11 different students. clubs to encourage the students. 1. Poetry club 2. Natraj club 3. Ninad music club 4. Badminton club 5. Chess club

Hostel Facilities

There are several different types of hostels regarding student comfort or study. Single occupancy, double occupancy or triple occupancy. There are AC hostel and also Wing hostel which are different from other hostels. If you take PG then it costs less than hostels. But I refer you to take hostels.

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Recently Infosys visited our college, however the average and highest package was not yet declared but we have heard rumours that the highest package is somewhat around 30 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is around 65%. My plans after getting this degree is applying for external placements as well.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
