Overall good experience

Regarding the application form you can apply it on gla university's official website www.gla.ac.in and eligibility for B.tech is 10+2 with 50% and the GLAET entrance test is conducted by the university itself. The applications are accepted till last week of July. The examination is conducted twice every semester. Overall the experience is good regarding admission as well as examination as faculties are supportive.

This course offers the best placement as compared to other courses. Most of the faculty here have done PhD with topmost institutions across the nation. The faculty is very supportive and tries to clear your doubts every time you have them. Regarding exams, it is conducted twice a semester as midterm and end-term. Exams are mostly conducted as per the given schedule and are of moderate level according to me.

Students are eligible for placement from the 6th semester only. Some of the companies that visit here are Wipro, Amazon, Capgemini, Microsoft, Gemini solutions, etc. The highest package offered was 32LPA in batch 2022. The average package stands at around 6LPA.

The fees for this course are 1,70,000 and are hiked by some percentage every year. It is quite an expensive course therefore many scholarships are offered by the university on your intermediate result and jee main score. Along with that, you can also apply for government scholarships which are also encouraged by the university to help you financially.

The university provides you with various clubs in all fields be it sports, tech, art etc. Many clubs are created by students themselves which help others in co-curricular activities. There is a central library where books are provided and along with some reading rooms which help you in studying peacefully. Many sports events and fests are organised every year which also includes some renowned people. Classes are provided with good seats, an air conditioner and projector along with a screen for effective learning

The hostel facility is also good. There is an option for 2 seaters or 1 seater hostel for boys which have cost around 70000. You can also rent a room or PG near the university which are at very least distance. Rooms are maintained nicely and are provided with housekeeping for cleaning. The food quality is average according to me and can be improved.
