Pillai College of Arts , Commerce and Science ( Bachelor of science in Economics )

In Pillai college of Arts , commerce and Science the admission process was taken in both offline/online mode . As Bsc Economics is new course in our college so no entrance exam was there and no cut off was registered but in other courses the entraance exam and cut off of 85% was there in commerce section for general status . The eligibilty of these course is that students of three streams can do these course . The application form and dates were given in the both offline/online mode so that students will not faced any dificulty . The application fees was taken offline mode because many students faced technical issues for paying in online mode and in offline it is easier to pay . The resevation benefits are available to those students who have reservation status . No improvements is needed because the admisssion process is should be taken in this way only.

This course is only available in three colleges and it have very heavy demand in the future for our jobs availability .It increases our practical thinking , communication and technical skills by studying these subjects For these reason i have choosen these course . The faculty members of our are very friendly , helpful and supportive in same time they are strict if don't complete our work in time . The entire faculty is great .Our teachers make sur that each and every students doubts are cleared . The faculty members are highly qualified in which they have studied . The teaching method of different subjects teachers are different as due to covid we were having online lectures but then also students didn't get boread because evey teachers take much efforts to teach us in intersting way and making the sessions interactive , they even take unit test so we all be prepared for our exams . The term exams taken timely and those who study perfectly will get good marks than who didn't study .

Younity company , Talakunchi pvt ltd , Livepixel technology and many more offered internship oppurtunities with high stipened between 6-8 lakh both online/offline mode in which interns can be comfortable to do their works . As we get the internship oppurtunities to learn more of work experience , knowledge . So , that we can boost up the career level . The projects like organizing a team , developing business , coopertate them to do the task , even handling the big projects and reciving certificates and money by completing the tasks . This way we also get promoted by sincerely completing our works . High companies come all this way offered the oppurtunities to make us become a future leader for achieving the tasks .

From TY students become eligible for campus placements . The companies are LTI , Capgemini,Ugam ,GEP,JIO,Infosys and many more visited to our campus and made no. of offers . As our course is new in the college so details of our programme are not known but we hope we will get high qualified jobs with high stipened salary . My plans after getting the degree is to become a researcher and helping to solve economic problem in the country .

The fee structure is 42000 range yearly which can be affordable to all with including taxes , tution fees and overall particulars . The college has provided us with scholarship money of 3500 to every students of our course . They give campus jobs in TY with above 8 lakh stipend . The jobs are highly qualified which are given to students and also chooses which students are suitable for different types of jobs . Not only that we also have internship oppurtunities were we get lot of work experience and we can learn many more things for our jobs .

Alegria - The festival of joy is one of the Mumbai's largest college annual fest organized by Mahatma Education Society's pillai college it is conducted in month of March . The CodeVita is also largest tech fest organized by Pillai college of Engineering conducted in end of August month . All kinds of books are available in our library like reference books , novels , entrance books , etc . We have shelves , whiteboards , projectors and Ac in the classes . The national level sports competion are organized like badminton , kabbadi , football select the best players and many extra curricular activities like surprise donation , NGOs ,etc . There are many social groups like blood camp donatation , Go green initiative , yoga camp are organized by students .
