Remarks

The admission process is very easy, GLA takes admission of students on their 12 percentage or with jee mains result or with their own Entrance exam. They also provide scholarships to those students who have got a good percentage in their 12th.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum includes all the essential subjects for BTech and also has proper lab facilities. In GLA there are around 500-600 teaching faculty for 10000 students. All teachers are highly qualified and exams also get conducted in a timely.

Placement Experience

In the 6th-semester students start giving interviews for companies that visit GLA provides a good in-campus placement opportunity as compared to many other private universities. The highest package that GLA has got is 32 LPA from the 2020 batch.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of this college are quite high, but if you compare it with other private colleges in Delhi, NCR then GLA have fewer fees. Every year around 2000-3000 fees get hiked in tuition fees.GLA also provide scholarship to meritious students and students with low financial condition can also avail of UP scholarship

Campus Life

The fest and club activities in GLA are not very active and as a student, we don't get enough time to participate in these extracurricular activities because of exams, lab and assignments if someone wants to participate they can do, but then they have to manage their time efficiently

Hostel Facilities

One bed, table and chair all basic facilities are provided in a hostel, the food quality is average and the menu includes all the pulses and basic meals. One can register online or offline for a hostel. If someone wants to live in P.G then they can also look because there are many p.g and rented rooms near GLA

Life of college of DELHI NCR

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.Tech CSE course as I am interested in Computer and Coding. Don't go behind the trend. Choose the course according to your interest. Every course and specialization is difficult in its own. Personally I suggest if you took addmission and you are in 1st semester, please focus on your studies. Don't kept roaming and bunking classes as 75% attendance is also necessary.

Strict and sober college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is Totally academic level which is easy to moderate There are only one or two coding subjects which is done in form of workshops The overall syllabus is good but old and is related to aktu syllabus which needs a change and won't help in technical field a lot Curriculum is still moderate and easy to clear but still some students are back and detained due to less attendance Which is the biggest issue in this college that is 85% u can only take 6-7 holidays in a semester which is so less and two three holiday will let u detained in sessionals which will overall decrease the internal marks in your overall cgpa of college

My personal college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .

Our curriculum gets better from this year as so many changes occur due to college become autonomous Like a better coding platform bought by college for student i.e. CODETANTRA and some subjects of 2nd year introduced in the 1st year like COLD and DSTL , Promoting students to participate in Hackathon by mailing to the students about each and every big or small hackathon . Giving them free attendance for that thing . The frequency of exams are about 20 days .
