Candidates must be citizens of india.In Academic requirements for government quota the candidate should Candidates should qualify in the Engineering Entrance Exam, KEAM 2021, conducted by Commissioner of Entrance Exams, Govt. of Kerala.Rounding off the percentage of marks to the nearest whole number is not permitted.For Management/NRI the candidate should Pass in Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education of Kerala or an examination recognized equivalent there to with an aggregate of 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry / equivalent subjects put together or equivalent grade. The application can only be done through online from the website (marian ac.in).

I chose electronics and Communication Engineering course because it will lead to my career.Quality of teaching depends on individual teachers and they are pretty good. We have highly qualified professors to teach us and they are supportive. Curriculum is up-to-date. Yes my course makes me job ready.The faculty includes highly experienced professors with Ph.D. and core-based lecturers. Faculties from highly reputed fields are also there to help the students.Depends on your consistency and hard work. If you are a good student throughout then there is nothing like “hard” in it.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is moderate and merit is provided to students with high score and also fees reduction for backward caste people. Stipend are provided on the basis of performance of students. Internships are highly encouraged by the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.
