Remarks

Neet score of above 500 for general candidates. Application form is by counselling process conducted by ntruhs. Reservation for bc got a seat. My score was of 470. No improvements I want as of in the UG admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had developed an interest in my late schooling of this course. Faculty:student ratio is enough for students to have a good performance in their studies All the professors are well qualified and teach very well. Three sem exams are conducted per year and results announced

Internship is followed after the final year studies and is provided with stipend of about 20000 per month. Many cases are observed and are learnt under the guidance of professors who are always there to help us

Fees is a bare minimum of 10000 rupees per year and the for the quality of the education we get it is worth. Fees hike doesn't take place every year if it does it is minimum. Scholarships and financial assistance are provided

Campus Life

Annual fests are conducted in a very exciting and cool manner. Insta and other social media accounts are run by students in providing necessary updates for the students regarding the fests. Books in library are available. All sports are played in the college.

Hostel Facilities

Room has three beds overall per room and has two lights and fans. Mess menu is good and provides chicken three times per week. Registration for hostel is easy and requires only two or three form fillings. Locality is pleasant

The life of a medico in a government medical college

Placement Experience:

There is no such thing as campus placement in medical courses.. we are provided with internship with the linked hospital with an approximate stipend of 30k per month for a year and after that we receive the course completion certificate and we can either practice in a clinic or pursue the post graduation upon our interests..

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only.Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.
