Remarks

Admission Process is very easy. Even students can fill the forms.Firstly the student should fill the application form for admission in the IP University portal. After filling the application form for admission, there is an entrance exam called CET. CET consists of Multiple Choice Questions, which are very easy to attempt. After CET, there is a councelling session from where you can select the college and according to the rank of the CET exam, the college will provide you the admission letter for the course applied.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exams were always on between MAY-JUNE and DEC-JAN. If you study, then one can pass the semester exams very easily. Exams are out of 75 and internal exams are out of 25 marks respectively. There is a practical exam conduct between every semester.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are given to each and every students in the college. The placements and career growth jobs are also available with attractive package. The students passing out from the college are given with good Jobs and internships so as to develop their skills.

The placements of the college is very good. The salary package is also attractive. 80% students of the college receive placements every year. The average package provided to the students of the college is around 5lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is around 70000 to 80000rs per year. Scholarship is also provided to students under every quotas. Internships and campus placements are also provided to students with good stipend. Overall the internship and campus placements are very good.

Campus Life

There is a big library in the college with hundreds and hundreds of books and journals in it. Clubs and societies are also there in the campus. Campus environment is very friendly with Anti-ragging and postive vibes.

A quick view on Dyal Singh College Morning, DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was preparing for CA also that's why I opted for Bcom, rest no other factors. But the curriculum of the college was best. They covered our whole syllabus on time. Everything was just perfect. There's semester system at my time. Every year we have 2 semester exams and you can clear the exam if you have studied everything your teacher taught. Examination level was moderate only.

The curriculum itself is offered under delhi University is the biggest pro of this college I liked the aspect that it tries to capture the essence of holistic development by introducing skill enhancement courses, value addition courses and ability enhancement courses It also facilitates dynamic learning experience by offering the courses from different departments such as general electives I still believe that there is a space for improvement in the applicability of this course in the real world as the world is growing at a fast paced and we need to prepare ourselves with everything we can Intership opportunities, live projects of certain subjects , increased field trips and introduction of ai courses Frequency is good ,1 per semester which helps students to take on different ventures also and the difficulty level is mixed depending upon the subject but ranges from moderately easy to difficult

I would say genuine

Course Curriculum Overview:

There's no such specific aspect to be very honest, I was clear since my 12th standard only that I'll be doing BCom hons in my undergraduation. The core subjects provides you valuable knowledge for sure but there's nothing to learn from AEC, SEC and VAC subjects (they are useless). I think teachers should start focusing more and like in my 3rd semester, there are 2 teachers for each of my core subject, this should be eliminated because it creates confusion among students. Exams usually ends in 1 month and mostly my exams were in the morning shift which is 9:30-12:30 but it gets difficult during winters to reach to college on time and sometimes you have to wait too for 20-30 minutes outside for the gate to open.

I chose the bcom course because of its well structured curriculum that covers fundamental aspects of commerce, including accounting, finance, taxation and business law. Exams are conducted in every 3 months of semester. Exams paper are moderate to hard not so easy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think there's too much unnecessary subjects given in the name of VAC and SEC and AEC becuae the options are completely irrelevant to the course. I'm a bcom student why will I study political science or hindi. If it's important to have these many subjects then give us subjects which are relevant to our course. There's mandatory EVS subject too and I think I have learned all that thing already in school so there's no need to study that.
