Eligibility of the course: 12th class, the admission is merit-based it depends on your percentage in class 12th You can get an application form for admission from the college website sgrrpgcollege.co.in Reservations for SC/STs and OBC also reservations for sports quota, NCC and NSS about 5-10% (detail available on the college website).
Course Curriculum Overview
If you want to prepare for any government examination and don't want to drop then this college is a good option with low fees and also faculty is ok. The laboratories are okay. Most of the professors are Ph.D. degree holders. After COVID lockdown the period of examination is delayed and became later than other colleges. The 1st semester examinations are late by 3 months of 2021-24 sessions.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of any course in Shri Guru Ram Rai PG College is very less and affordable. College is affiliated with Hemvati Nandal Bahuguna Garhwal University (HNBGU). The fee for BSc(PCM) is about 2500 per year and about 800 per semester of examination fee.
Campus Life
Leaders and politicians groups are there on the campus. The crowd in the college is not much. The library is fine you can get a good space to sit there and study. You can issue a maximum of 2-3 books of your course only at a time for a semester. After the completion of the semester, you have to return the same to the library. There are a lot of Extracurricular activities which are organised in campus-like sports activities and arts activities. Also, there are competitions for these activities like athletics events, volleyball, cricket, basketball, kabaddi and badminton matches and also painting, speech, Articles writing and slogans competitions, etc.
