1. Eligibility of our course is 55+% in 12th standard. 2. Application form is visible on the official website of the university and application fees are also visible on the website but application dates are decided by students. 3. Improvement not needed.

Course Curriculum Overview

1. I chose this course because I love to design interiors of different designs. 2. Faculty members are around 100-120 and students are around 80-90. 3. All teachers are well qualified and specialists. 4. In one semester around a 1-1.5 months gap between the term exams.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 105000 per year

Internships Opportunities

1. Most of the companies are offering internships with stipends, some of the examples of the companies are Asian paints, Godrej, Mahindra, Tata, Microsoft, etc. 2. Most of the easiest projects are to be given to clarify the tasks with stipends.

Placement Experience

1. From second-semester old students are eligible for internships and placements on the campus through University. 2. Companies are visited on the campus for internships and offering stipends. 3. The highest package is 36 lakhs per annum the average package is 10 lakh per annum and the lowest package is 5 lakhs per annum. 4. 70% of stipends get their placements. 5. My plan is only a degree taken.

Fees and Financial Aid

1. In LPU the fee of B.Sc. in interior and furniture design is 1,05,000 per year and this is the 3 years degree so the total fee is 3,15,000 for 3 years. 2. University provides scholarship facilities and loan facilities for stipends on the campus.

Campus Life

1. In LPU annual festival is organized in March month. 2. Journal items are available in the university stationery shop and all books are available in the library. 3. Amenities in classrooms are wifi, projectors, etc. 4. Sports and extracurricular activities are also on campus. 5. Most of the social groups, clubs, and websites running for the students.

Remarks:

Faculty: Teacher are highly efficient, all of them are from a great background. But teaching quality is something which varies from person to person. The course curriculum is very good but the semester time period is less so kind of little difficult and more semester stress. Placements: People find it on their own, and they go for Higher Studies like PhD and Post Doc etc. Infrastructure: Co-ed Hostel with full Wi-Fi support and for the first 2 years two students live together in single room and from 3rd year onwards they get separate single room. Mess system available, 3 mess you can eat in any of them on pay and eat basis. Health center is there, all the sports facilites and gym is also there.

Remarks:

No doubt IHM Bathinda is one the best college in terms of hotel management and also of the province of Punjab. One should be fortunate enough if he/she gets in here and get the preferred choice, rest all of us are polished by the college itself. Our college management is too strict about following the rules but ultimately it is good for the students. Faculty and environment you are getting in the college are also good for studies creating competitiveness among students.

Why I chose LPU ?

I haven't applied to other colleges, although I have researched enough about them and can say why I chose LPU ? Firstly, the flexible and new curriculum which allows us to be prepared according to the new tech's need. Alumni mentors informs us about the current scenario from time to-time.
