Remarks

I had applied to the university through the official portal and paid INR 200 which was non-refundable. I took an online method to pay for it. Later I had submitted my GATE score as the result did not come when I had submitted my application. I took admission to the college based on my amazing percentage and GATE score. I had also appeared in the counseling session to confirm my seat at this college. I had seen there were hundreds of students and there I knew that getting to IIT is not an easy task. My admission process was also very interesting and easy. I had learned a lot while taking admission to the college. I was asked to submit my documents to the on-campus so I went there and I had quite liked the campus which was huge and also the environment at the place was beautiful.

Entrance Preview

The admission process was very easy. As to seek admission to the M.Tech, I had a degree in the related discipline with a minimum of 80% marks or CGPA. I had also required to clear the GATE Exam with a recognized score in which I had secured 700 rank which was fair enough for me to get into the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum of the university became up to date to fulfill the trendy industrial regulation and the curriculum is the right photo of theory and realistic knowledge. We additionally have industrial visits two times each semester to recognize electrical generation and to recognize the significance of engineering dynamics. But the topics which I had liked the most were Environment and Energy Studies, Electrical Workshop Practices, Thermal, and Hydraulic Prime Movers, Electrical Engineering Materials, Fundamentals of Electrical Power System, Fundamentals of Power Electronics, Analysis of Electrical Power System, Power Electronic Converters. The faculty is very experienced and a master of their field. The faculty of the college have completed their Ph.D. degree from the best universities of India in a few faculty research work been published in international journal and they have been also awarded for their research activity. Due to their ability to teach in the best way, I was able to study the course easily.

Placement Experience

4.5

Some of the major recruiters included UBER, UiPath, Microsoft, Intel, Master Card. etc. I was placed with Tata just after completing my master's. The average package provided was INR 9 LPA. Not only Indian companies but I had also seen many international companies such as Google, Facebook, Amazon, and various other MNC's too. When it comes to placement the college had a lot to offer. Even there were regular workshops for resume building and other sorts of career opportunities. there were internship fairs too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I had paid a total of INR 30000 fees which had already included my placement fees, identity card fees, convocation, thesis, and other fees. The payment of fees was an easy task, I had paid it easy through the bank transfer. It was minimal that I had paid it as a whole.

Fees and Financial Aid

The university offers amazing scholarship opportunities such as Rhodes Scholarships and other international scholarships. Also, there were state government, central government aids, merit-based scholarships, and a lot more. I was given a merit-based scholarship as I had been given an exam for the same. I was given a benefit of INR 5000 in my annual tuition fees.

Campus Life

5

The campus had a lot of greenery near it. There were hundreds of sports and extracurricular activities conducted at the campus. Even the classrooms were well equipped with the latest technology. The campus holds lot many events related to culture, festivals, and a lot more, Even there were workshops for practical knowledge. My life was best there and most interesting I had learned a lot.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I had lived with my family as I was living there only. So, my life is related to living was very easy. But the university offers amazing hostel facilities, which include well-managed, well-ventilated, amazing WIFI and LAN services, clean drinking water, good cleaning, and food services.

Admission:

The first process of admission was to have qualified in GATE. Thereafter, students were shortlisted and a written test was conducted. Around 500 people were shortlisted for the test out of which around 40 qualified finally. The quality of research in my field is very high at this institute, which was a prime factor for me while deciding to join. Also, inputs from seniors about the faculty members and their motivation inspired me to select this college for pursuing my Post Graduation.

I cleared GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) and scored an All India Rank 368 with 96.6 percentile. My first choice was getting into IIT-Kanpur/Delhi etc because they had the best rankings in India. However, I was not able to get into these institutes. I then applied to IIITs which are next after IITs and I was successful in getting into IIIT-Allahabad which was ranked at 8th in India.
