Remarks

Because it has a huge name in Odisha and also my family suggested to study from there because of its name, and the course I want is only available at that college only at that time. because no other colleges offer bachelor's in journalism and mass communication at that time in Odisha.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I have a huge interest in this field. Faculty are goods and they are highly educated and friendly too but there is not an environment to scope more in the field you choose. Their teaching skills are also good and students can easily understand what they are teaching. There is a semester every 6 months or if you study and have concentrated at the time of teaching in the exam you will get good marks.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Placement Experience

After giving your 4th semester you are eligible for campus placement. you will get enough opportunities for different companies and you will get offers as per your capabilities. Highest package you will get is 5 lakhs per annum in the field of (Journalism and mass communication). Almost 75% of students get placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is 40000 per annum and there is also an admission fee which varies for students (Male and Female). The scholarship is there but I have no idea about it you can contact the admin to get more information about scholarships. About Campus, I can say you get a good opportunity to apply and it on you how you impress them.

Campus Life

You will enjoy your social life there because you will get to participate in many programs which were organize by the university. There are as many clubs you can be a part of For ex Art club, culture club, music club etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Im really not into mathematics and science my hobbies and strong catch was always on literature subjects and speaking and when I had completed my 10th I was always searching for the course where my intrest was lying and I finally found Journalism. The curriculum of this particular field is really practical and always prepares you for field . There is no such rocket science applied to this course . This particular field moulds the students to be always prepared for field experiences. And if we talk about the examinations here in our college this paper was held yearly which really gave us time to prepare for more better results.

My Journey at BGU

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards. Companies like Adfactors, PR Hub, Value 360, etc, typically visit offering various roles. The highest package could be around 8lakhs depending on the company and role. Approximately 70 to 80% of students secure placements. And plan after getting the degree is to continue my post-graduation, I aspire to pursue further studies and join a reputed firm to gain experience.

Read this before joining BGU

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course mainly because I was passionate about writing. This course gives good exposure to different career opportunities, not only in television but also in radio. Fluency in English is one of the many benefits of this course. The faculty to students ratio is well maintained as per the official guidelines (1:35). All the papers have specialized teachers. The faculty members are friendly and well be informed about the subject. They encourage all the students to develop skills. The assignments given by them are quite interesting. To sum it up, you get one of the best faculties available for this course. The semester-end exams are held every 4 months and there are assignments and internal assessments between that. The exams are quite easy to pass, just a thorough knowledge of the subject is required. You would mostly be asked questions to test your understanding of the subject.

Perks of BGU

Placement Experience:

For getting placements, I need to atleast reach the end of the 3rd year of my college. I've just started my 2nd year now. However, my seniors, have perfectly gotten good placements at really fine places. To date, I've done atleast 3 internships in my 1st year of colllege, all provided by BGU. A good number of students are really brilliant and talented and hence the percentage of students getting well-placed crosses a really fine line.

I hadn't applied for any other college because my university is the best institute for higher studies in Odisha and I wasn't supposed to go anywhere out of the state. Ravenshaw is the best

I am student of adisha bord in 12th. Basically i choose to do bsc chemistry honours . I give 5 colleges for selection .
