Great Faculty Guidance, Healthy Campus Environment

I applied through the online mode and received a response in 2 days. My PI was scheduled and after one week, I received an offer letter. The admission process was smooth and was able to complete it in 2 days. There were no such criteria mentioned for the same.

I always had a keen interest in Journalism and Mass Communication, and this course is just like the cherry on top thing. Birla School of Communication provided the best equipment. The Department faculties have a piece of great knowledge of their respective fields. and they provide us with both Theoretical and Practical Knowledge, making us industry-ready. The faculties also help us with study materials before exams, clearing out all our doubts and it made the exam good for us to write.

The university provides internships in various sectors like PR, Content Writing, Editing, and Production, etc. Anhad Films, Shave100, ClearExam have offered the students with various roles which have turned out very beneficial for the students, making them future-ready.

MA Students are only eligible for campus placements. BA Students get Internships that prepare them for the professional world. Companies like Inshorts, ETV, Genesis, Zee, Adfactors PR, etc. have come to the university for the placement drive.

The fees structure is as follows: INR 50,000 (College Fees), INR 61,000 (Accommodation, Laundry, Mess) Every Semester. Scholarship Opportunities are there, one needs to attend a test to crack it. No financial Assistance or campus jobs were provided as BA students don't get placement drive, only MA students get them.

Life on campus is really good. The environment is toxic-free and friendly. One of the major perks is the infrastructure. With various conduits run by student bodies under faculty guidance, ample sports activities; both indoor and outdoor. The annual fest is organized every year in February or March. The classrooms and studios are well equipped with the latest equipment for all the practical based activities we perform.

The Accommodation Facility is better than most colleges and universities. You get an AC in the room, a Single Bed, a Study Table, and a Chair. You get access to Wi-Fi, an attached bathroom that is cleaned and sanitized every day. You get a Washing Machine too if you want to wash your laundry. One just needs to confirm with the authorities about the requirement of a room. BA Students get to have triple occupancy, but MA only has double occupancy. Overall accommodation is great. The food available in the Mess is above average provides various varieties of food, better than most colleges around Odisha State. The accommodation is quite affordable too.

The Interview was held over a phone call, it was scheduled and in the first round, I was selected and received an offer letter for the same. the rest part was completed when I went down to Bhubaneswar, where I submitted my documents and results. The process was smooth and hassle-free.
