Remarks

Overall college was okay, biggest benefit is that it was government college so very less fees compared to other worst self finance colleges.

Entrance Preview

It was Gujrat Board examination for 12th science with MCQ examination called GUJCET. Its ration is 60:40. Its as government college, fees is just around 2200 per year, big campus that it.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course was good, but compared to central board colleges it was nothing. No choice for optional subjects. you have to choose what college faculties study.

Placement Experience

2

Not a single one placed from when I joined to I passed out. College is located in very small city, very less job opportunities.

College Events

2

There were good cultural activities held every year, but not any technical. College campus is very big and no of students is very large, around 4000 at a time, so it is easy to make and year end event successful, but the quality of those events were not good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is very less, just 2200 per year and 550 examination fee per semester. It was very big campus around 10+ boys + girls hostel, hostel fees for a semester was just 350 rupees.

Campus Life

4

Gender ratio was good for IT batches but not for others branches. It was tolerance with regards to gender. Girls can safely study there, there was even a police station in the campus. No extracurricular activities, it depends upon you, there was a cricket ground, big enough, college has small gym(equipment were not that good, but free of cost), canteen and some indoor games like carom, chess, TT etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilities were okay, its not quite good but you can stay there. Quality of the mess food was average, but it was too cheap, when I joined in 2007 it was just 15 rs per time, only 900 per month.

Alumni/Alumna

No such alumni network, student here just study and pass out, make their career own their own. No college sites where passed out students can get in touch with.

Exam Structure

Overall examination structure was good, there were no chances for cheaters, college day was okay okay. If the lecturers are experienced then it is mandatory to attend.

Faculty

3

There was just one professor and a HOD when I joined, but year after my passe out seniors joined as faculty and then it was full capacity faculty. but the teaching quality was not that good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did write the course curriculum and Indus university as good and relevant. Overall I chose this course because it has strong fundamentals project work and practical exposure. The curriculum prepares students well for real-world applications and internships, Though it could include more advanced tech technologies and industry certifications exams are regular, each semester and moderate, challenging, encouraging consistent study, but sometimes could be more practical oriented.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and covers all the basic and important subjects related to the field. This course includes both theoretical and practical subjects which influenced my decision to choose it. The syllabus helps in building strong fundamentals, but it is still more theory-oriented and less industry-focused. It prepares students for exams and higher studies, but for real-world skills, students need to do extra courses and self-practice. The exams are conducted every semester along with internal tests and are moderate in difficulty level. If a student studies regularly, the exams are not very difficult to clear. The curriculum should be updated more frequently and more practical, project-based and industry-related topics should be added.
