Remarks

Eligibility of the scores was via the EAMCET exam. This was done via EAMCET counselling. After receiving the notification that you are chosen for this college, you can go to the college itself wherein the admission cell will explain all the forms that need to be filled and the documents required. BC-E would get a different ( looser) rank cut off than the general category. MJCET is affiliated with Osmania University.

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to do computer science engineering and my rank allowed me to get into this course. There are many professors who have a PhD. While each teacher has their own teaching method, everyone wears punctual, respectful and knew their subjects very well. The class size was around 60 students. As the college was affiliated with Osmania University, the exam schedule would be given by OU. The schedule was followed unless and until there were major reasons like Bandhs which would lead to delay of the exams. Those exams were usually conducted a month later. Pretty simple to pass as a minimum score was pretty low.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Companies like Infosys, Samsung, Hitachi, Deloitte, Value lands, Service now, etc visit the vinegar college. The highest package is usually offered by service now which is around 12 lakhs per annum CTC. Pre placement training is usually provided in the summer before the 4th year.

Fees and Financial Aid

White cardholders with good ranks were given full scholarships. They usually have to pay only the exam fees which was not much either. Many students with good ranks could avail partial scholarships. Many students ended up getting 50% or more scholarships.

Campus Life

MJCET's tech fest for 3 days would attract students across the city from various colleges. The library is extensively stocked with the textbooks required for the coursework and books on various subjects and topics. There's also access to IEEE papers and other journals. There are many clubs in the college such as CSI, E-cell, various chapters of IEEE, etc. This is also an open gate college which is a rarity in colleges in Hyderabad.

It has regulations which is very comprehensive in covering the theoretical and fundamental concept or aspects of the engineering subjects. It includes strong core foundation in math, phy and very imp programming languages i.e core subjects. It has a guaranteed university recogniton like JNTUH. It should be improved in the teaching methords and conduct more workshops so that it'll be a practical experience for students to learn best. Jntu correction scheme is very strict.

College review: Pros, Cons and reality.

Placement Experience:

During 3-1 , we get only one internship i.e JPMC offering 75,000 per month which is of 3-month internship. Thhis year it took around 16 students. through coding round, hire vue interview and the hackathon process. I was selected to hackathon but sadly due to communication skills lack, I was not selected as intern , although I passed coding round, hire vue interview and entered hackathon. From 4-1 onwards we get placement oppurtunities like Deloitte, Chubb, oracle, DE Shaw, etc companies visit and offer good package only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is accurate and relevant as well. This helps the students to have good knowledge and grip on current scenarios, and it also helps to survive and get placement.Tge frequency of the exams is 45 or 50 days each.And it is not so difficult because the faculty teach in a proper and understandable way in which the students can understand and attempt the exams . Coming to teaching methods, every class is having a smart screen and projector as well for better understanding.

The are several reasons to choose this college . The very first was this is a muslim minority college which is well suitable for minority people . Despite securing a good rank in eamcet I couldn't make it to top colleges of city . The admisiion process is pretty simple just write the eamcet exam secure a good rank and then apply through conscelling and If u r eligible for the it you will get a message that you got selected in this college .
