VIT BHOPAL Overall Experience

The college conducts VITEEE exams every year. The details of the exam are to be found on the official site of VIT. After the results are declared, students have to go through a counselling process which costs 6000rs(in 2021). There you can choose the branch of the college and also the course you want to study. The cutoff varies every year.

Computer Science has great scope if you do it from a good institution and for a private university, VIT is pretty good. The faculties are very interactive and helpful, you can reach out to them regarding your doubts and they'll be happy to help. Talking about the exams, there is a midterm followed by the term end examination. The questions are fairly easy if you have studied.

For first year there are not many internships available. But you can choose to reach out to companies or take guidance from seniors who will help you to get experience. There are also clubs in college that provide you certificates of participation and stuff that will be useful.

The students are encouraged to do internships from 3rd year itself. There are placement training workshops held every once in a while. Faculties and Seniors guide students very well. Maximum students get placed in a good company. The highest package in the 2021 batch was 45 LPA.

VIT has different fee categories based on the rank you've scored. The fee in category 1 is lesser than in category 2 and so on. The tuition fee for category 1 is 1,98,000 per year, and it goes on the increase by 1 lakh for every category. There is no scholarship scheme as far as I know.

Campus life is good but strict. There are strict rules that need to be followed or else students are fined. Most of these rules do not hinder the basic life of students, but if you want to roam around at night then you're not allowed. The academic life is great, there are well maintained classrooms. Sports amenities are also great. There are myriad clubs snd chapters that you can join and explore.

I am attending college online so there's not much detail I can provide but seniors have told me that the hostel is good. The bathrooms are clean. The mess food is better than average as well. The registration process is probably based on attendance and marks.
