IIT Bombay is the dream college for lots of engineering aspirants and if anyone is getting the chance to be [art of such a prestigious college should not miss it out. When I found that I was wearing the cutoff marks of the college I felt that I am the luckiest person I immediately took part in the JOSAA counselling and secured my seat. The college is ranked amount the top 3 engineering colleges of India.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the college follows all the latest development and the college curriculum help us to understand every basic detail of Aerospace technology. The curriculum covers the topics such as Vector Calculus and Ordinary Differential Equations, Computer Programming and Applications, Materials Science and Metallurgy, Basic Electronics Engineering, Engineering Graphics and many more. The faculty of the college is expert and the college faculty standard is very high. The college faculty have completed their PhD degree from the top universities of India and abroad. The faculty also have industry experiences and many of the faculty members have served as the company departmental head in their respective domains.

Internships Opportunities

The internship program of the college is designed and managed very nicely. The internship is a very good opportunity for us to learn new techniques and imply our theoretical knowledge in the practical world. The average stipend for the internship is around 1 lakh.

Placement Experience

IIT Bombay is among the top college in India and the college also has international recognition. The college has the favourite spots for the market leaders. The college has a very good record of 100% placement and the highest placement offer of the college is around 95 LPA and the average salary offer is approx 25 LPA. The placement committee of the college is quite dedicated and focuses a lot on the college placement drive and every year the the salary offers increases.

Fees and Financial Aid

Institute Merit-cum-Means Scholarships, Named Scholarships, Free Messing Facilities for SC/ST, Free messing facility (basic menu), Fee Remission for economically backwards are some of the college scholarship programs through which the college provides scholarships. The college complete course fee is around 9 lakh and the average salary offer is around 25 LPA so you can imaginr=e the ROI which is very high.

Campus Life

The college infra is very well developed and managed. The college classrooms are very well designed and the classroom is fitted with AC and digital boards are installed. The college campus has a WiFi facility. Sports facilities like basketball, volleyball and badminton court is available. The college also celebrates Holi. The college library is very big and we can find every book related to all the departments and we can also find the latest research international journals.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is very well managed. the hostel rooms are available on a triple, twin and single sharing basis. The rooms are properly furnished. The hotel mess food is very good. The hostel campus also has a bank, Gym, WiFi Facility, activity centre, Swiming pool, Convocation Hall, Post Office and even printing press is also available. The hostel wardens are quite professional and the staff is very well trained. The hostel security is very strict.
