IIT Bhubaneswar Review

I wanted to opt for the civil engineering program because I wanted to go for government jobs. I felt that to secure a good ranking for the government exam IIT Bhubaneswar would be the best option for me as I can afford the college fee. The admission is through the JOSAA counselling after clearing my JEE I have to attend the JOSAA counselling and the merit list is prepared as per the JEE advance marks.

The college follows all the latest industrial development and regulations. The curriculum properly helps us to understand the complicated topics and points that are covered in the curriculum are Technical English, Basic Mechanics Engineering, Engineering Mathematics-I, Engineering Mathematics-II, Construction Materials, Computer-Aided Engineering Drawing etc. The faculty are very knowledgeable and help us to understand every concept in an easy way. The faculty is the one that motivates and guides us to work hard and to inspire so that we can achieve good placement offers. The faculty is the best USP of the collge.

The college internship program is very well managed and we all have to complete the internship and we can take part in the college internship program after completing the two years of the program. The average stipend for the internship is around 45k.

I don't feel so that much is to describe or write about the college placement program. The college maintains a 100% placement record and the biggest plus point of the college is its placement committee that focuses on improving the college placement standards and quality. The highest placement offer of the college is around 55 LPA and the average salary offers is around 18 LPA. Few of the batchmates received pre-placement offers too.

Merit-cum-Means Scholarships, Stipend/Financial Assistance, Top Class Education Scheme for SC/ST scheme is offered via National Scholarship Portal, etc are some of the names of the college scholarship program. the eligibility conditions for the scholarship can be known from the college website.

The college is very good and the college maintains its discipline very well. The college organises debates, quizzes, dance and music competitions after every two months. The college classrooms are very well designed and fitted with AC. The library is very vibrant and we can find every kind of book of our subject and all kinds of bestsellers authors books are also available in the library. The campus is very neat and clean the housekeeping team work very hard to maintain the cleanliness of the collge.

There are a total of three hostels two for boys and one for girls the boy hostel is named Mahanadi Hall of Residence and Dr. A.N. Khosla Hall of Residence and the girl's hostel is named as Subarnarekha Hall of Residence. The hostel has the sports facilities like Basketball Court, Volleyball Court, Badminton Court, Table Tennis and Carom etc. The hostel mess food quality is good. The hostel campus also has WiFi connectivity for the internet.
