Remarks
CET exam is important for the admission process. After the 12th, CET can be taken by applying through the mahacet website. Once taken, apply for this college through the same website and wait for CAP results. If selected, the verification process is done in the college itself.
Course Curriculum Overview
Instrumentation Engg. is a very interesting course. There is one faculty for about every 25-30 students. Most faculty have a Master's degree and many even have PhDs. All term exams are conducted in a timely manner and if you work a little hard it's easy to pass.
Internships Opportunities
The college directly does not provide internships but the faculty help in guiding students to seek internships from outside sources. But the college conducts various workshops to further build technical knowledge.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester. Multiple IT companies like tcs, cognizant, Accenture, LTI, Wipro, Infosys, etc. visited. The highest package in an IT job can reach upto 7-8lpa and the avg. is 4-5 LPA. With regards to core instrumentation companies, fewer visits. Like Johnson control, Worley, DFPCL, Burns, and McDonnell, etc. with an average package of 4 LPA. Most students that apply for placements get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are pretty consistent throughout the course. But if you're not eligible for any scholarship, the fees can be a bit excessive. Many scholarships/govt. assistance is available on basis of family income, caste, etc. There is a placement cell and it is quite easy (with a bit of work) to get a job with a 3-4loa package.
Campus Life
Techfests and annual cultural fests are conducted every year. Most curriculum books are available in the library for borrowing. Classrooms have projectors to help faculty and students. Many sports, cultural and technical clubs are there for students to participate in. ISA, SUC, the wall, etc.
