Remarks

To get eligible for this course we have to clear the HSC Maharashtra board with a minimum of 50 percent PCM subject and we have to give an entrance exam called mhtcet which application form can be obtained from mhtcet.org.in at an application fee of rs 850 no improvement is needed.

I choose this course because I am interested to work in it sector a facility is well educated and very good they are master in their engineering field and they are also friendly with students to solve all problems related to students there are a total of two IAT ex and two theory semester exam.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like TCS, Infosys offered internships under stipends there is a total of six months of internship contracts signed by both companies and student projects like making models, software, are given ppt presentations are given in task and for that we get marks.

Placement Experience

From 7,8 semesters students became eligible for placement and gets placed. Companies like TCS, Infosys, unacademy , Colgate, oracle, visits college's highest package is offered 3500000 and the average is 500000 and the lowest is 400000 above 80 percent of students gots placed. My plan is to do post graduate after getting a degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I mentioned the fee is about Rs 128590 rs I have got a scholarship called EBC it can be avail if your family income is less than 800000 in this scholarship 50 percent of student fees is deducted suppose my fees is 128590 then it become 72000.

Campus Life

Annual fest celebrated in our college is IRIS It is the biggest fest and it is celebrated in the month of March all books are available in library classroom are held with projects and quality looking desk sport event is carried on in sports fest curricular activities are carried by faculty the social group is hackathon run by students.

An Honest Review

Placement Experience:

The Campus placement of VNIT Nagpur is good enough. Students of 7th and 8th semesters are elegible for campus placement. Many companies visited in the campus some prominent names were google, Microsoft, amazon, Goldman Sachs, and many core companies such as bajaj, HPCL,BPCL etc. the number of offers made was 760 in 2024 and placement percentage was around 80 percent.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

SFIT the brave,the bold and the pressured

I entered thru cap round which plays a significant role in course eligibility in prestigious colleges , this college was recommended to me by a long stream of family members and it has lived upto a part of its reputation. I didn't get rejected but SFIT my 3rd most important college as I had to check for other better colleges which i knew i couldn't get in as part of a strategy. Eligibility depends on aspects like college minority and minority eligibility in this case Catholic or Christian need to have 65 plus in percentile of CET .
