IIIT Kota- Student Review

I was persuaded to enrol in this institute for my B. Tech because it has an excellent curriculum. In addition, most of my lecturers suggested this institute to me. According to my study, IIIT Kota's flagship course is B.Tech in CSE. Over the course of the year, it had also provided remarkable placement opportunities. I was admitted here based on my performance in JEE Main and JOSAA counselling, which was followed by a Personal Interview. I received a score of 70%. I paid roughly Rs.300 as an application fee when I applied through the institute's official website.

Our curriculum was exceptionally well-organized. In the first year, we did not study mechanical or chemical engineering. The final year curriculum was light and appropriate because we had more time to focus on things like research, projects, admission examinations, and placements. The teachers were helpful, despite the fact that there were just a few staff members.

Within 6 months, nearly all of my CSE batch had been placed. The largest salary package available was around 30 lakhs. The average remuneration package was Rs. 9 lakhs. Placements went well the previous year, and they went well this year as well. Amazon, Goldman Sachs, GAP, Room, and many other companies took part in our placement campaign.

My B. Tech program had an ultimate cost structure of 8.55 lakhs, which I paid in four instalments of roughly 2 lakhs each year. We might also apply for need-based and merit-based scholarships, as well as industry-sponsored financial aid and bank loans. We had to register and apply for merit scholarships by submitting the necessary documentation to complete our scholarship eligibility conditions.

In hostels, Wi-Fi was offered 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All of the other amenities were available here as well. The meal was not awful, as is typical of government college messes. The medical facilities were excellent, and we received free care because medical payments were included in our semester fees. Sports and games were all enjoyable. The property was outfitted with a variety of outdoor gaming courts. There were also badminton courts and table tennis tables at the hostel.
