You should choose MBM or not ?

I choose this course because i want to prepare for GATE exam , which will open all the field for me like governemnt exam and private field also .Because i can write gate in electrical and then choose VLSI for mtech . I would say the curriculum is relevant for gate and for future use also ,but that is theory only , no practical explanation . I would say that teachers should now more focus on teaching in depth with right understanding . Otherwise there is very less need of improvement it just how they deliveer that content . Exams happend every 1.5 months , like mid terms , practical viva, final exams and they are not that hard to pass , you cann pass those exam just 2-3 days beforre starting .

Internship oopprtunites are not provided by college , you have to find internship with your own efforrts only , but somehow everyone get internship from here and there . So yeah thats like a big con in this college

In the end of 3rd year the companies starts to come in college . So 6th semester and above students are eligible for placements . Mini orange , tcs , accenture , vedanta and lnt are the major companies which comes in my college and total 210 students got placement in 2025 . Highest pacakage was of 20lpa , and average package of electrical branch is 6.9 . Around 45 percent students get placed . My plan for now is to prepare for gate then either join mtech or psu ,or prepare for SSC JE or SSC AE exams . Or may be join the placement and then prepare for governemt exams alongwith job

The total fees per semester is as follows : Tution fee = 7500 Development fee = 7500 Institutional fee = 1500 MBMU development fee = 3000 NBA accreditation fee = 1500 Total amount = 21000 So the total fee per year = 21000+21000= 42000 One this to be remeber is that the fee in the 1st semester is 7500 more than other semester,but that amount is refundable after your whole degree . This was the fee for General /Obc students . The fee for the ST/SC students and All girls is around 12000 per semester . And the fee might increase or decrease for the freshers , but not for the regular students . There is only one scholarship avaible that is alumini scholarship,,which is given on the basis of merit and need .

Campus life is the missing factor in this college . This college give school like feel . Just classes and nothing . In my 1st year there was not any fests, but this year there will be a technical fest named Tech Kriti , which will held on 13 to 15 september . And Induction programm happen every year for 1st year students only in which many events happen and proffesor guide students . Books are not available , and those which are available are of no use in now days . In classrooms there might be chances that you get no fans , while classes we use to sweat so much . But from 2nd year your classes will be held on your department only and those cllases are good than 1st year classrooms . Sports culture is decent here , people do play badminton , cricket , football , table tennis here , and 1 sports even happened every year . And there are many clubs name pixxlens, kalakriti , sargam , eic clubs and many more ,and they are very active . Among ttheese pixlens club is the most active group .

Hostels are the best thing in this college . Not on the basis of infrastructure , but the life of hostel is so good . you get no time to feel bored . You get a big 3 seater room in 1st year and in 2nd and 3rd year you get 2 seater room and in final year single seater room . Hostels are decent with regular maintainance .But the meesss food is worst .quailty is so bad . and after so many complaints , there is 0 improvement . The rent of hostel fee is 12000 per year ,and for messs its 17500 per semester . There are many pg and rooms avaibale near college , the avg price for pg is 6000-7000

I also applied for jecrc foundation in jaipur , and i got CS+Ai there , but then in next round i got mbm electrical . I choose this college over jecrc because that was a private college and mbm is government . And also the fees in jecrc is twice as compare to mbm . And i want to have a option of gogvernment field also so electrical will be much better option . I wanted to go to NIT but i didn't get that much good score in jee ,so i was left with this state college option only . The admission proccees is quite simple , you have to apply to reep counselling , and then you have to do reporting in this college with required documents as mentioned on reep site . 91 percentile is required in jee to get electrical branch in mbm for a general ews student

The faculty to student ratio is 1:63 . Faculties are approachable but there is not a bond between students and teachers , Teachers just comes in class and teach and go , and nothing happened . Harish khyani sir is the most i liked , and others are not that interactive, I like that harish khyani sir is strict but also teach in a very friendly nature and encourages us to work on us . Sk vyas sir is the one i don't like that much , but i know that he is old now so i can't blame him , he don't interact with students . There are 4 exams each semester , out of which 2 are mid term ,1 is practical exams,,and then the final exam . there difficulty is easy to moderate . there is around 200 students who got back in atleast one subjects from 890 students . The course curriculum is not that relevant , but that syllabus comes under gate exam , so can't say anything what is actually relevant .

There is no night life in my collge , Since the hostels campus is diffrent than collge campus , so there are no one in college in night . Gym time is 6-9 in morning and 6-8 in evening . No cafeterias , and library close on 5pm along with college . Hostels timing is 10 pm for 1st year boys ,and 7 pm for girls ,,but after 1st year there is not time limit for boys in hostel ,you can come and go any time . Famous hangouts places near hostel and colleges are like , mehranngarh ka kila , terki mata mandir , kaylana lake , science park , and senapati bhawan . Yes the locality is completely safe to roam arround at night because this was in airforce area .
