Course Curriculum Overview

4

I want to pursue my civil engineeirng beacuse there are so many government jobs in this field . By help of this stream i can also prepare for GATE and IES like reputed exam in future. Facilities provided in my department are also very good. In this course , we mainly emphasis on construction of building , dams, bridges etc . This help us to develop skill and knowledge. I mainly suggest to improve the construction and environmental aspects. The teaching method should be done by help of practical. The main exam held at the end of semester while mid term usually held twice during the semester.

Internships Opportunities

4

The major companies for internship are DCM shriram, NBC, JK cement , Adani group , Bororsil and Shree Cement. The projects given to a group of fourth year student is make a cab by help of given resources and the outcomes that they easily made this .

Placement Experience

4

The placement records are very good. Almost ,70% of students got placed every year. After 3 and half year students are eligible for campus placement .Among top recutiers Adani group , Vedanta and L&T are famous . The highest placement in this college is 13 LPA whereas average package is 7 LPA . After getting my degree i want to pursue a government job

Fees and Financial Aid

There are two types of seats in this college namely GAS and SFS seats. GAS means Government aided seats and SFS means self aided seats. In SFS seats, the fee is approximately double than GAS seats. Currently, I am paying 41000 per year of Civil engineering which is a GAS branch . The registration fee is 100 rupee. The tuition fee is 7500 rupee per semester , caution money is 7500 rupee per semester, the Development fee is 7500 rupee per semester, Enrollment fee is 500 rupees per semester and the institutional fee is 1500

Campus Life

2

The campus life is so good and mainly focus of our communication and interacting skill.Festivals like Holi , dewali are used to held. There is a huge library in college and it is very easy to access the book from the library .The facilities provided in classrooms are enough . The extracurricular activities like games , sports are frequently happen. A student name Mayank aggrawal is running codig related club.

Hostel Facilities

1

The condition of hostel is not so good .There is no cleanliness in the hostel campus. There are 3 student in a single in first year. The food available in mess is enough good . You have to fill form of hostel accomodation during taking the admission in the hostel process.

Admission

I choose this college over other college because of it's alumni network and vast network. This college has a very low fee structure as compared to other college of India . This college has a good connectivity and easily accessible from other part of country . It has a large number of labs which make it different from other college . The admission process is very simple. You have to fill REAP form to get admission on the merit basis . In merit process , JEE main percentile taken into account . I don't fill other college form.

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ratio is 1:100 respectively. The faculty are of calm nature , highly qualified , knowledgeable and experienced .The faculties are approachable easily in their respective department . Among best faculties Professor B.P. Jain , Professor Amit meena and Professor SK Vyas . I like them due to their teaching style and behaviour towards students . I personally do not like Professor Ashok dariwal , Professor Ajay sharma due to their aggressive nature .In a year you have to give to main exam or university exam twice during the end of a semester while there are mid term also which are used to conduct after one month of starting the semester . It is not so easy to crack the university exam . You have to read at least one or two month before the exam . Approximately, 90% of students get passed. The syllabus is very relevant and is according to th e university rules.

Night Life

1

Students are not allowed to move here and there at night. There are no late night activities in college. There is a GYM also. Hostel used to close nearly10:00 pm. It is not so much safe to move locality at night .Library are also present near the hostel.

Students become eligible for summer internship (after 3rd year) from start of 3rd year (5th sem) and for the placements, companies come to the college from 7th semester onwards. Companies like jo Morgan, Deloitte, Flipkart, goldman sachs , PepsiCo ,oracle, bny ,ubs , rippling etc come here for placements, some of them come for 2months and 6months internship too. Average package offered by them is 9-10 lpa , jpmc , Goldman, visa they offer till 12 lpa and it can go up for some of the companies . Most of the companies allow to sit for 6.5cgpa and above but some of them allows 7.5 and above cgpa and jpmc allows 8.5cgpa and plus as far I know till now . I am currently looking forward to work in a company and get a placement.

Birla Institute of Technology - [BIT], Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electronics & Communication Engineering)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is vast and allows a student to explore all the possible options to take before deciding on one . The field of elctronics and communication engineering allows one to deal with electronics and learn all the possible tinkering with them which is a very fascinating part as all the gadgets possible today were made of them. The curriculum does satisfy this thirst by teaching about them in the class of electronics and electricals and then experimenting in the lab with them . The areas for improvement could be that if a student is interested in a specific field then should be allowed to venture that field throughly instead of sitting in every class , but that is an imrovement for the indian education system as as whole . The classes of every subject does occur frequently and and exams take place every month in a form of quiz or proper pen based exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I like computer science and I can see my future in this course. The current ratio in computer science courses is around 1:5. And we don't have technical communication teaching at present and the college is saying that they will recruit teachers as soon as possible. The student-teacher ratio in all the branches is around 1:3. All facilities are well qualified and teach well but they are not permanent and hence they may or may not be changed next year. There are two semesters in each year and an examination is conducted after each semester. The difficulty level of these exams ranges from moderate to difficult.
