Remarks

Since its government college, the college management is deeply influenced by a certain politico-religious group and since this community has been on possession of the education ministry when ever the right wing came to power they've managed to pump students belong to their category in to the college and drive their ideologies with the help from their helping organizations outside the college campus too.

Entrance Preview

Kerala state medical and engineering examination of the year 2000. During that period in time, electronics and communications engineering considered to have a elite stream of engineering with most of the people trying to get admissions for.

Course Curriculum Overview

1

The college was under the kannur University and the syllabus at that point time was taken from the IIT Roorkee, B E syllabus and extremely extensive and in depth unlike the curriculum of any other college in Kerala or South India then. It caused great difficulty among the students and teachers to enable find the right material and text books.

Internships Opportunities

Since it was government college, we were lucky enough to complete the B.Tech with a negligible fee of 2500 per year now the fee should be as per the kerala government norms.

Placement Experience

1.5

Since it was fairly new college that started in the year 1999, there were no campus placements then. However, there are students made it to the highest of the positions in corporate and proved extremely good in further continued education.

College Events

1

Very poor, when it comes to extra events conducted there were no organized system to enable the students to co-ordinate or drive any of the events in their own way.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very relaxed, anybody can afford it as its a government and College and its the only advantage I could see when it comes to this particular college. But remember, you're its the bounty you're paying off for quality education.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I mentioned above, as the college run by the government of kerala and only minimal fee as per the government norms needs to bared by the students and college follow the state reservation pattern for admissions and students are eligible for stipends based on the existing criteria of the state government.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostels have been recently started operating. I've no comments as I was a day scholar and did not get a chance to be part of the hostels or mess.

Exam Structure

Without proper examination calendar, the university used to tire out the students examinations results were extremely delayed, couple of years at times, and made it difficult for some students to miss their break in career.

Faculty

0.5

Poorest of the poor, I should say zero commitment towards the students and all of them were lecturers none could inspire a student or influence them in any manner.

I chose this course because the curriculum covers key subjects like Python, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Deep Learning right from the early semesters. The inclusion of electives such as IoT, Cloud Computing, and NLP made it future-relevant and versatile.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
