IIT Goa Review

I was interested in the CSE program but was not sure about which college to opt for because I was not able to clear the cutoff list of IITs in India. I was provided with a seat in IIT Goa during my JODAA counselling the college was new but I was glad as I was getting the seat in my interested program of CSE. So I feezed the seat and completed the admission p[process after returning from the counselling.

The curriculum of the college is good. The curriculum uses the case study method and simulative exercise to teach us the concepts of coding and programming. The curriculum is designed in a simple and very easy way so that we can understand the programming and computer algorithms and coding easily. the faculty of the college is very good. They are the ones that help us to understand the concepts. The faculty is not only PhD standards but they help us in understanding all the computer techniques and their importance in technology.

The college has a very good internship program. The internship is a very good opportunity for us to add professional experience to our resume that can be very beneficial for us during the time of placement. The internship is available after completing the three years of our program. The stipend for an internship depends according to company.

The college is new but it definitely has the calibre to compete with most of the college as we were part of the first batch and receive good placement offers. The college placement committee was also new established they are not much experienced but the committee is full of professionals. The highest package was around 12.50 LPA and the average package was around 9.5 LPA.

Scholarship on merit and scholarship for SC/ST is also available. Scholarship on the basis of financial condition or on the basis of family income is also available. The central and state government-funded scholarship programs are also available.

The campus life of the college is good. the college strictly follows a no-ragging policy. The college is the house of many cultural clubs like Photography club, designing club, Oratory and literature club, Dramatics club, fine arts club, Dance club, music club and many more. The college library is also modern and has many bestseller authors' books from around the world. The college classrooms are also big and properly ventilated.

The hostel has many facilities and the rooms are available for sharing accommodation. The rooms have the basic facility as beds, study tables and almirahs for every one of us. The hostel mess food is good and our hygiene is properly taken care of. The hostel wardens and the staff make sure that the hostel discipline is properly maintained. The hostel has good facilities and amenities for us. The hostel security system is also very good.
