Remarks

As of now our college is restricted to limited courses and I hope to add new courses like mechanics and mechatronics in next few years. Apart from that, it's a mobile free campus which is no use because now a days mobile usage is must. Rest all is good and appreciable.

Entrance Preview

IIT JEE I scored 52 (obc category) The score which I scored that was only applicable to one of two colleges: St Francis Atharva college To which I choose atharva college because its first of all closest to my house secondly it's attendance free i.e no issues if you have less attendance and lastly full of extra curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Computer Science is very popular course now a days because India is mainly know for it feild engineering and due to this there is more demand of computer and it engineering. It includes study of programming, analysis of algorithms, web development, operating system and much more which leading to a complete software programmer.

Internships Opportunities

Yes our college does provide internship and recently it is declared as the incubation centre of msme group. The general stipend might go from ?2500-4000 according to persons knowledge. Though we ain't getting more money but the teaching we get as an intern is superb. They will surely help us on how to tackle any task under given deadline, how exactly we gonna work in our company and much more.

Placement Experience

5

According to the past surveys our college placements are around 92% and around 300 students applied for the same.Companies like Tech Mahindra, Zycus, I-Gate patni, Mt educate, Accenture, Infosys, viteos capital, and much more visits for job placement. Packages provided by them vary from ?3,50,000 to ?6,00,000 per annum and the highest package received is ?10,00,000

College Events

5

Technical fests - techithonIt's a technical event by csi committee held ever year in which every year competition from different colleges is held on national level including IIT's and NIIT's. Not over, they provide workshops and seminars on different topics of programming, Photoshop, web development and much morecultural fests - rhythmIt's a record that every year we are inviting actors/politicians/celebrities for encouraging students and guide them about their future. Sometimes this fests lead upto 2000-3000 guests leading to great seminar.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Believe me the fees are the cheapest among any engineering colleges in Mumbai which is around ?70-75k per year excluding hostel fees. For obc category it is around ?40k Fir Sc/St it is around ?2000-3000 per year and for Ebc category it is ?70-75k which will be reverted back after a year.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't think our college do provide any facilities for students but do provide scholarship from different organisation or government like ?40k for obc category out of ?75k which is provided by government and so on for Sc/St category too

Campus Life

5

There is 2:1 boys and girls ratio respectively. Here we get of course fresher's party on 1 semester and farewell party last year. Workshops and seminars happen on fests(nearly 20-30) every semester. Our college provide raging free guarantee and protection from supreme court that if found so will be directly rusticated from the college so it is in short the safest place after your home

Hostel Facilities

5

Since our college does not provide hostel facilities my ratings will go down to zero leading to the only Con about our college. Talking about food quality and quantity I'll rate around 7/10 because food is made by the students from cooking department but it's good.

Alumni/Alumna

I got a kt in my first semester and guys believe me they provided a shirt seminar for about 1 hour for both students and teachers how exactly we gonna take next step to avoid kt's and how to train your child. As far as senior students concerned they consecutively guide students how to tackle exams and submission problems every semester.

Exam Structure

Exam structure involves 8 exams in total and 2 semesters per year. Total of 24 mini exams, submissions and vivas occur each semester. Overall it might seem difficult but it's easy as you are trained here to get used to with exams. This examdare conducted every semester by Mumbai university and papers and results are handled by them

Faculty

4.5

We have highly qualified teachers having around 6-20 years of experience in its particular field and had passed out Masters degree. As they are highly qualified they ain't force any one to sit their lectures despite everyone attends to study each and topic in detail.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are decent, especially for computer related branches. Students usually become eliggible for campus placement from the 7th semester. The placement cell conducts taining programs from earlier semesters, including aptitude tests, technical sessions and mock interviews to prepare students. Many companies visit the campus every year, mainly from the IT and software sector. Some ofthe common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant and mid level companies. A few products based or higher paying companies also visit for specific branches. The average package is usually around 4-6 LPA while the highest package can go above 10-12 LPA in some years, especially for computer science and IT students. The placement percentage varies by branch, but overall, around 70-80 % of eligible students get placed with higher percentages in computer related branches. As for my personal plan, after completeing my degree, I aim to get a good campus placement in a reputed company and start my career in the engineering field. I also plan to keep improving my technical and communication skills during the course to increase my chances of getting a better package.
