Students who completed their higher secondary education and qualified in engineering entrance examinations are eligible for pursuing their engineering degree. For government merit students' admission is based on allotments and for management students' admission can take by coming directly to college. Sc/sc students are coming under the reserved category.

Electronics and communication engineering is one of the best courses in the engineering field. The strength of students is comparatively low, there is a required a number of faculties are there to guide students. The faculties are highly talented and dedicated ones they have a correct vision about the subjects. Internal exams are conducted twice in a semester as per the university exam model and one important university exam at semester end.

Students become eligible for campus placement from their seventh semester. If students got placed in their seventh semester they can enter their companies and come to college only for exams. Highly reputed companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, byjus are offering placement to pass putting students but placements are highly recommended to students who completed computer science engineering. The highest salary package offering is 10lakhs per annual and the lowest salary package is 6000 per month. During every academic year, about 45% of students get placed in highly reputed companies.

Tuition feeses for each student are different. Government merit students have fixed students but for management merit students feeses will vary according to their score in higher secondary exams. So many scholarships are offered to students based on their family background etc. Single parent students got a special scholarship. If two students are studying from one family some reduction in feeses are offered. There is no job is provided on campus with a stipend but students got placement in the last year of study in highly reputed companies with salaries.

Nehru science innovative technical fest NSITE, big cultural fest BLOOM are the highlighted function conducted in college. Other than this sports day, arts day, department programs, Onam, Christmas events all are celebrated in a well defined manner.
