MNNIT Allahabad Review

MNNIT Allahabad is ranked among the top 50 best universities for engineering and technology. The university is popular for its placements record and education standards. Even the government of India has recognised MNNIT Allahabad as one of the centres for Quality Improvement programmes for M.Tech. After clearing my GATE I have applied for admission from the college website and after getting shortlisted I was called for PI after clearing all the rounds my documents were verified and I completed my admission process. The admission process was smooth and the staff was friendly.

The curriculum of the programme is very good and up to date. The curriculum follows all kinds of latest industrial norms and standards. The curriculum is designed to impart to us all the basic and advanced level of knowledge of the engineering program and all the detail regarding the computer software is properly taught to us. The faculty of the college is also very good. They are experts in their field. The faculty are not only of PhD standards but they also have very good experience in their respective domains. The faculty teaching methods are also very simple and easy.

The college provides us with good opportunities for internships. We are eligible for the internship after completing the first year of our program. We have to register our details with the college placement committee so that they can help us to find a good company for internship. The average stipend for internship was around 75k.

The college has very good placement standards and packages. The college can easily compete with the IITs in terms of packages offered by the company. The placement committee members are professional and experienced. They are able to invite good companies for placement and help us in every step of placement. The highest package for our batch was around 50 LPA and the average salary package was around 20 LPA. Approx 75+ companies visited our campus for the college placement drive.

The college average complete fee is around 2.36 lakh and the college also provides very good placement packages whereas the average package offer of the college ranges from 18 LPA to 20 LPA which is a very good return on investment. Scholarship on a merit basis is available and scholarship for SC/ST is also available. The college also provides financial assistance as per the family income.

The college infrastructure is very well maintained and the college seniors and administrative staff are very cooperative. Culrav is the college annual fest and Avishkar is the college technical fest where we have to show our design and skills the technical fest is a very good option for us to demonstrate our capabilities. The college has sports facilities like a Badminton court, basketball court, volleyball court many more. The college library is the house of many national and international bestseller authors books. The library also has many international journals.

The hostel infrastructure is very well maintained. The rooms are available on a triple, double and single sharing basis. The rooms are very big and spacious. The mess food quality is very good. Veg and non-veg both types of menu are available. The hostel provides us with 24 hours of water and power supply even we are also provided with 24 hours of WiFi facilities. The hostel wardens and staff are very cooperative and helpfull. The hostel has all kinds of facilities and amenities available for us.
