Life at IMT disclosed

The admission process at IMT Ghaziabad was rather simple. Undergraduation was the minimum eligibility criteria for the PGDM programme. We were given the freedom to choose the date and time slots for our interview process. There was CAT and XAT cutoff score to be eligible for interview. No sectional cutoffs were specified.

The course curriculum is well designed and quite comprehensive to accommodate students from all across the country with different educational backgrounds. The course is helpful in grooming the students to become top-class managers. The faculty here are extremely supportive and helpful. Also, there are mentorship programs where faculty oversee students' progress.

The students are provided with amazing opportunities during the summer internship as well as final placements. IMT has a record of 100% placements in various companies. Recently IMT was able to place 100% of the batch having 500+ students in a record 17 days for the batch of 2020-22. Amazing brands such as Marico, ITC, Bira, Google, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley visit our campus for placements.

For the summer internship program, students at IMT get amazing opportunities. Some of the prominent companies visit IMT and offer projects in the field of Marketing, Finance, and Operations. The project duration is about 8 weeks and gives an amazing experience to the students regarding corporate management and culture. Numerous company come to our college like ITC, Marico, JP Morgan, KPMG, ICICI Bank & Goldman Sachs.

The total fees at IMT Ghaziabad is 19.53 Lakhs for the complete two-year PGDM program which includes everything from hostels to world-class infrastructure. The campus is well equipped with all the basic amenities that a student may require. On top of it, IMT has a well-maintained Bloomberg lab for the enriched learning experience in the field of Finance for students.

Passion is the annual flagship event for IMT Ghaziabad organized in the month of December. There are a number of clubs and committees where students can be a part of and learn the practical aspects of management. The library is well equipped with all the books and latest journals for the learning of students. The staff at the library has been extremely successful in providing remote access to the students during the covid scenario. Chakravyuh is one of India's largest sporting events organized by IMT Ghaziabad.

Everything ranging from the food and the other services is available. The variety is great and the basics are kept in mind. Sports facilities are available too and the quality is maintained at a high level. The campus is always beaming with students and the rooms are well ventilated. It's just beautiful. I would also like to mention the AC and geyser facility provided to us. There is 24*7 power back up. There is one step registration process for getting hostel rooms.

There was an interview that focused on my academic background as well my current knowledge along with my general communication skills. The main preparation was done regarding the current affairs and the basics of my graduation as well as my long-term goal in the field of finance which I wanted to pursue. Group discussion could not happen due to the online mode. The process was smooth and well organized.
