IMT Ghaziabad - A comprehensive view

I chose IMT Ghaziabad for its reputation, industry connections, and excellent placement record. The knowledge and skills gained here are valuable for my future career. The faculty-student ratio is commendable, allowing for personalized attention and strong student-faculty interactions. The faculty members are outstanding, highly qualified, and experienced. Their engaging teaching methods foster active learning, and they are approachable and supportive. Since I have just joined the college, I haven't had any term exams yet.

The fee structure for my program (DCP) is as follows: Initial amount to be submitted: INR 3,73,000 After that, we pay AED 24000 after that, and AED 26000 Lastly. the remaining amount, totalling up to 28.73 Lacs. The college does offer certain scholarships: 1. Scholarships for girl students - every girl student avails a scholarship of 25% on their academic fees. 2. Tuition fee waiver scheme - Selected students who fall in the economically weaker section of society receive 100% scholarship on academic fees. I was not eligible for any of the above scholarships.

IMT G hosts "Chakravyuh" - the flagship sports event to which the entire B-School fraternity looks forward every year. As for tech fest, there is no such particular tech fest that I am aware of. There are almost each and every book and journal available in the IMT's library, whether offline as a physical copy, or digitally as in pdf format. The classrooms are equipped with projectors, sound systems, ACs, and all the necessary amenities. As mentioned above, IMT takes sports seriously, and there are proper badminton courts, basketball courts, cricket grounds, football grounds, tennis courts, etc available. There are a lot of clubs and committees run by the students on campus. Some of them are - Student Affairs and Welfare Council, Research and consultancy enterprise, Alumni Relations Committee, Placement Committee, Academics Committee, Sports Committee etc.

The admission process for IMT G requires entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, and GMAT. First, candidates need to register on the official website of IMT. We fill in our personal info, create a login, and we are good to go. Once registered, we can access the application form. It's essential to be careful while filling it out, as they'll need to provide their educational details, and work experience (if any), and upload necessary documents like photos and signatures. There's also an application fee of Rs. 2,500. IMT G offers a variety of payment methods, so that's convenient. After completing the application process, the admit cards are issued, which contain all the details about the PI date and time. Eligibility is a crucial factor too. Each course (PGDM-BFS, Core, DCP, Marketing, Finance) has its own set of eligibility criteria. I didn't have the opportunity to avail any reservation benefits because I wasn't eligible for them. Finally, the admission process can be better by including GD rounds.

My interview questions were related to my family business since I am a fresher, and some general questions related to air quality, economic terms such as GDP vs GNP, etc The process for the PI was conducted online, on IMT's website. I prepared for these rounds at T.I.M.E. where they prepared me for these questions preemptively and thus I was able to breeze through the rounds.
