On the Final Year a educational tour is conducted by this college which is known as DELHI VISIT and this visit is including The Supreme Court visit, Parliament Visit, President's House visit and lots more.

In Hooghly Mohsin College there are more than 15 professor including guest lecturer. This is "A" grade college. Hooghly Mohsin College is also provide LL. M course.

Internships Opportunities

This college offered 14 days District Court Internship. 7 days High Court Internship and there is also an opportunity to visit the Supreme Court. But there is no stipend.

Placement Experience

Hooghly Mohsin College is a Government College and there is no placement cell. Law Degree is for independent practice therefore campasin is not a big deal because after obtaining this degree any any one can practice any court in India.

Beside Hooghly Mohsin College there is a hostel maintained by Hooghly Mohsin College and this is a Boy's hostel. Accommodation and food is OK. not too good.

Government of West Bengal provide Merit Cum Scholarship which is of Rs. 10000 per year which is quite enough for course fees and some extra expenses.

Hooghly Mohsin College is situated just beside the Hooghly River which is also known as The Ganga River and campus is very eco friendly and very nice atmosphere. This is 'A' grade college by NAAC.

My seniors ere very friendly and helpful to me they always there to provide any help such an notes, question papers, books etc. Students' Union is maintained by students of each years.

Exam Structure

Over all this is a good College and I had very nice time in this college. This college also conduct many seminar on different subject. Managemet is ok.

Faculty

As Hooghly Mohsin College is directly Government Sponsored College therefore course fee is very little. Total Course fees is about 15 thousand rupees and for Delhi Visit Rs. 5000-Rs. 7000 extra.

Analysis of a Prosperous Path of Career objectifying its Credibility and Outcome.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen B.A.LLB(Hons.) because I want to have knowledge of law because laws form the basis of society. Moreover, I had an Arts Background therefore, it was a good combination for me to explore and go according to my desired path of career. The count of faculty members of IILS is an approximation of 20-30 teachers and the students each semester is near about 70-100. The teachers are truly well versed in their respective subjects and they're immensely knowledgeable and friendly, they try hard to make us understand in the easiest manner. But the only problem is that the faculties are not permanent, it keeps on changing. The term examinations were always on time except for the lockdown time but this was also managed smoothly within time. In order to know the difficulties I would share a fact and i.e., when I took admission in my Institute there was a total number of 140 students in my semester but no sooner than the first exam held half of them failed and now we're 70 of us.

As far as the reviews of seniors, from 5th to 6th semesters campus placements are eligible. As per seniors, 90% of the students get placed. I have plans to go for LLM (masters) and practice as an advocate in the future.

You've to pass the 12th Examination with a science background and the marks you've got in the 10th Examination in Geography are also needed for preparing the merit list. Every year after the announcement of the State Board result college issues a notice for new admission and you can find it on the college website. It's a govt college so the fees structure for each and every course is very low.
