Remarks

The college management is highly co-operative & knowledgeable about the University schemes. They provide good exposure & motivate you to keep up. Management brings to the students the best from all around the world & adopts the best teaching & learning so

Entrance Preview

MH-CET - 100 % preference for (Maharashtra State - Common Entrance test ) - 144/200- Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT) is best for Mechanical Engineering - Very good scope for mechanical Engineering in Industry.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Syllabus is covering all necessary subjects, required for mechanical engineering. Industry exposure is also there. The depth & quality of subjects is good. It gives an idea from the start of some technology to the latest ones. Practical subjects are knowledge oriented.

Internships Opportunities

Being in the second year of engineering, I have not been through any internships. However there are good internship opportunities available for students. The names which have come forward are Volkswagen, Mercedes Benz & Tata for mechanical engineering students.

Placement Experience

4

Best opportunity for campus placements and further job opportunity. Since the beginning of new academic years companies start to rush in the campus. These three IT companies have placed nearly 40-45% students from all branches combined.Cognizant- package range 2.5-8.5 lakhs per year Infosys- Package range 2.-6.5 lakhs per year, IBM- package range 2.5-7 lakhs per year.

College Events

5

There are many events in our college. We have 2 technical events namely Texephyr & Tesla bcz there are two engineering colleges in the same campus. The footfall is about 5-6k people comprising mainly of students. Big title sponsors for the event. Like IBM, Venkys, Barbeq Nation etc. Cultural events like Aarohan & seperate gathering all the colleges in campus. Department wise various events are conducted.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is slightly expensive. It is 94.5k for the engineering students of open category. However, considering the infrastructure & facilities provided, this fee structure is quiet genuine.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I have no idea about the load facility for students but I've surely heard of it from the fellow students. I wouldn't write about any of as I the information that is with me regarding this isn't completely authentic.

Campus Life

5

The life in MIT campus is a great exposure for the every student keeping intrest in various fields. Right from Cultural, technical to sports. No partiality is made on the basis of gender, caste & creed. There isn't any politics being done against students. Economic status of the the crowd & students is higher middle class or middle class. All the activities conducted by college & various departments are good & a lot to learn from. There are two ROBOCON teams, Baja team & an Acceleracers team for the one ones interested in applying their technical knowledge.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel facility is good. I wouldn't rate it as 5 out of 5, but 3 is a perfect score. As the boys hostel is 1.5KM away from the campus. There are three girls hostels out of them 2 in campus & 1 outside the campus besides the boys hostel. The mess food

Alumni/Alumna

There is an Alumni function which is conducted every year. It is very benificial for everyone as the Alumnies come from various fields from Arts to technology. They're always eager to help the juniors. College has maintained a good record of these alumni.

Exam Structure

The exams are much frequent. This institute is more of a knowledge oriented rather than marks oriented. Practice exams are conducted a month prior to the practical examinations. It is allowed to perform the same practical repeatedly even after it's done.

Faculty

4.5

Excellent, highly qualified and very good teaching skills. 90% faculty is Ph.d holder. Many of them have also published research papers. Their teaching also gives a lot of focus on Industry demands & requirements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
