Then application process included JEE Main cut off. The eligibility was to have a score of 100 in JEE Main. The application can be found on the official website of the college. The process can be refined to a huge extent by increasing the strictness while considering the cutoff. Since the college is new and started only in 2016, the leniency in cutoff consideration damages the quality of the student batch.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum and faculty are top-notch. The college has a well-updated curriculum and a number of specializations to choose from. The faculty is to student ratio was 1:15 which isn't bad. Term exams were always held on time and the passing criteria were usually 30%.
Internships Opportunities
We were offered both on and off-campus opportunities according to our preferences. Some good technical companies were a part of the on-campus opportunities. I did an internship at the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant through the off-campus application. I learned how the electronics and communications department plays a crucial role in most of the automated and digital processess regarding steel production.
Placement Experience
Placements are pretty good. Around 70% of students in my batch were placed. Companies like Microsoft, adobe have visited the college and provided good compensation to the selected students. The highest package of my batch was 45lacs per annum (Microsoft) and the average package for the year 2020 was 7lpa. My plan was to get an off-campus job in a non-technical profile.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure was reasonable given that the whole campus was air-conditioned. There was no fee hike for the first batch (my batch) throughout the 4years. But the college imposed a fee hike of 15% per year for the subsequent batches.
Campus Life
Campus life at college is great. The committee members make sure we have enough clb=ub activities and events throughout the semester to keep ourselves entertained. The library was full of all the required books for the curriculum and it has a different shelf for novels, magazines, etc. I was a member of the Sports Department and I handled the Content team.
Hostel Facilities
There are twin sharing rooms acros the campus. Every room is air condiutioned and we had housekeeping checking in every opther day tyo get our room cleaned and garbage dumped. The meals are good and the mess is hygenic.
