Remarks

Eligibility depends on the year of examination. For eg: in my admission time around 20k to 35k rank was needed. Now it is changed You can get the form, fees and dates from Haldia Institute of technology official website No i don't have any knowledge regarding to change in the admission process

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose because i want to become chemical engineering and here placement is quite good enough. Mostly faculties have PhD degree and their teaching method is very good Actually it is my 1st time, so i don't have a crystal clear knowledge about how timely the exams are taken.

I want to make myself clear I'm 1st year students i just joined last year, and about the internships offered by the companies i don't have a crystal clear knowledge about that. About the projects, projects are given to our seniors and to know about the projects you should ask them

Placement Experience

From 7th and 8th semester they are eligible for placements. Hight package is 29lakh, in last year 2021 and average is 3 or 4 lakh, PA Percentage of students getting placements is quite decent. About companies that visited till now, you can google that, but i can tell some HIT petrochemicals, Hp, Lg, Nestle, Wipro etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure for the 1st time is only 70,700rs and after then 65,000rs per semester. It is average price for everyone, though it is very costly. If you want to do engineering then you have to sumbit those amount. For financial assistance there is a scholarship named Vivekananda Scholarship

Campus Life

There is a huge library having thousands of books and journals, its name is Aryabhatta Library Different different events, sports and tech fests happens every year, but due to pandemic every thing is in hault

Hostel Facilities

It is an average room facilities means you will get a bed, a table, a fan, a tubelight for each people (3 or 4 people) in a room and a attached bathroom, also a common self. Meal is average and menu depends on the hostel facilities

Hostel Fee: INR 65000 per year

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

Placement opportunities are overall good, students can apply for the placement form 5th and 6th semester and can get PPOs's companies like Microsoft, google, amazon comes during the placement season and every year, so many students get placed even with a package greater than 2cr INR. Placement Experience:

Overall the placement percentage of the college is good for both the core and non-core courses almost near 90%. All the students in there 3rd year i.e. in their 5th or 6th semester are elegible for campus placements. A few companies which visit the college are TCS, WIPRO, TECH MAHINDRA, INFOSYS, IBM, COGNIZANT, HUL, HCL, INDIAN OIL, MITSUBSHI, NJ INDIA, D-POWER,ETC. all the companies offer placement. highest on-campus package = inr 33 lakh where as the average is around 6lpa. After the degree, I plan to get a good placement in a core company and opt for GATE.

Okay college and decent placement

I choose this college due to affordable fees and the hostel facility near. But I think my desicion was wrong as it is not good engineering college as compared to the other colleges from noida ,ghaziabad and rest cities of India .This is because of followiong parameters that are good in those colleges.1.NO Regular cultural and technical fest. 2.Not any extra co cirricular activities such as dandiya, festive special programs and the main freshers part. 3. There is no farewell given to final year students by the college. 4. No convacation held. 3. No hightech infrastructure and AC classrooms.
