You can get admission to the Haldia institute of technology by the West Bengal entrance exam or JEE mains. Application form of WBJEE examination is provided on the official website of wbjee.nic.in. the application form fees are 500 rupees for other states students except for West Bengal. West Bengal student gets reservation in the exam as they are from the home state.

I choose the information technology department because it is offering lots of jobs in the field of IT. The teacher at Haldia institute of technology makes student-focused in achieving the goal by guiding them incorrect way. Regular tests and semester exams are organised in this college. In a week test is conducted and every semester exam is in 5-6 months respectively.

Top reputed companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro and other top companies visit the campus for internships. Internships and scholarships are provided by the college at low prices. Some student also gets a stipend during internship on the basis of performance. They have to make projects and show their top skills while making internships.

The fee taken by the Haldia Institute of Technology is 5,27,000rupees including hostel charges and 4,27,000 for academics. Scholarship and internships are provided by the college in the interest of students. West Bengal student gets reservation who comes under the TFW category who is economically backwards and can't afford admission to universities or colleges.
Campus Life
Annual fest and tech fest are organised on the special occasion in the college in regular intervals. It is mostly conducted in the month of February ie Haldia Mela in which top artists visit for their performance. There is a library inside the campus in which books is available for each student. They can use it for study purposes and can take it home for further studies. From the second year, you can join groups, clubs or websites which is run by senior students.
