Remarks

So the eligibility of the course is 10+2 or diploma in engineering with min 60% of marks. The application forms are usually out in February , anut cards in March and exam in May. The application fee is roughly 750. And there are total 420 seats as of now in which the basic central govt reservation is followed in addition internal quota reservation (those who've completed 12th from AMU) which is roughly around 50%.

So the course curriculum is of semester system. I chose the course because of the very cheap fee and decent placement (in CSE and ECE). Faculty to student is quite good. Roughly around 40:1. And the faculty is highly qualified majorly from IITs. Term exams aren't that difficult.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunity is below average. Mostly they are unpaid. The placement cell is not so much active in internship kind of things. Rarely students opt for internship. This is something you have to keep in mind before entering.

So regarding the placement it is quite decent but in core branches it is poor you have to opt for either off campus placement or you have to learn DSA and apply for software companies. But in branches like cse and ece placement is decent.

Fees and Financial Aid

Th fees is so much nominal and there is rarely any fee hike. Also if you are willing for fee reimbursements or scholorship you can apply for state or central scholorship. In addition to this the hostels fee is also so low.

Campus Life

Campus is so beautiful and with every possible amenities. Sports club is so vast and almost all the sport is covered. College has various social groups too dancing singing drama and many more. Overall campus life is very up to mark.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year you are eligible for placement sheat in college. The highest package was 1.5 cr approx and average 7-8 lakh. Percentage of students to get placement should be around 1/4 of overall students means . I will apply for both on campus and off campus placement.

The placements of GCET are considered average to above average for a private college. The average usually looms around 5LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was 39 LPA by Autodesk. Around 70-80 percent students are placed every year.

Placement is good the highest placement was in 2022 that is 49 LPA and this year also 20 LPA of 3 students and 15 lpa of 4 students and many of 5 to 10 lpa . If a student does not get package or job it is his or her fault. Amy be he or she has not prepared or have any skill to get placed if you have potential you can get placed. Every student in college get placed at minimum 3 lpa. The placement rate is 90 %.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the 3rd year. The placement of the college is decent. The average package for tech branches stands at 4-5 LPA. Most of the offers are made from mass recruiters like TCS, cognizant, etc. However, product-based companies also visit the campus but very few students get short-listed for them. The highest package for the 2025 batch was around 22 lakhs from JP morgan in which 2 students got placed. Microsoft also offered a package of 18 LPA. The placement percentage is around 50-60%. If you maintain 8+ CGPA and have the fundamentals clear then you can definitely secure a decent package from this college. The placement department of the college is supportive.

AMU was amazing!!
