Remarks
Here, KIIT played masterstroke, by allotting all the good professors for the first year students. Most of the professors who teach the senior students, are either doing research in some field, or are engaged in some other activities.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are 40+ subjects in B.Tech, I am not going to name all of them. Now what KIIT is doing, they’re allocating the above teachers to juniors, for easy subjects like C/C++. And all those old teachers, with little to no interest in teaching, are allocated to seniors. So please study yourself properly.
Internships Opportunities
You can easily be a 9 pointer if you just study 10 days before the exams. Believe me, here the course is quite easy, and getting good marks is a very common thing here. But the question arises, you all join.
Placement Experience
Actually, the number of students here is just too big! In CSE alone, there’re 1200+students. So keep your coding skills good. Most of the students here do copy+pasting of the code during exams, please don’t do that. Just for the sake of marks. Code it by yourself.
Fees and Financial Aid
In KIIT, during recent years, there has been a surge in the number of societies, which is good. But most of them are running without the knowledge of the KIIT authorities. And many of them had done malpractices to earn money from students.
Campus Life
Now here comes the part, of which you all have been waiting for. The placement here is still good. KIIT has maintained its reputation there. For starters, placements usually take place in phases. In the 6th sem, companies start coming looking for interns, if you get selected, do proper work then you may even get a full-time offer. Else wait for the next placement drive
Interview Experience
Here the faculties, i.e. the lab assistants, most of them have a very basic knowledge about the subjects. Never ever argue with them. Neither with professors. You never know, a single argument might ruin your career.
