Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is well-put-together and is constantly updated for all batches. They provide with a foundational understanding of all domains in first year and then move on to specialization specific courses. The faculty is qualified and helpful. The internals are based on practicals while externals are written exams at a decent difficulty level.
Internships Opportunities
The company has an internship and career development cell which provides internship opportunties to students. The internships are in various domains like finance, HR, Marketing, and management. The average stipend is 3000-5000 depending on the type of role.
Placement Experience
The college has a placement and internship cell. The placement opportunities are good if compared with other private colleges offering BBA. 3 of the big 4s and several other MNCs have been to the campus. The average package last year was 10 LPA for domestic placements and 12 LPA for international. 96.77% of students who opted for placements got placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee includes only tuition fees worth 3,00,000 LPA. It is a bit on the expensive end for this course. There are scholarships for meritorious students but no on-campus jobs as such. For private universities offering BBA, symbiosis offers one of the best ROIs.
Campus Life
SCMS, Pune has one of the best campus life you can imagine in an Indian college. From different clubs to cultural fests like Sympulse, you will build a lot of good memories here. The campus infrastructure is decent with all basic amenities provided- including cafeteria, juice center, general store, stationery shop, library, computer lab, music room, and more.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are good, given the cost and the amenities provided. However, there's a curfew that may seem restrictive to some students. Overall, it's a good option especially for first-year students to opt for.
Interview Experience
Yes, there was a written test where we were asked to describe a picture and then write on a topic. We then proceeded with a personal interview with one of the faculty members who test you on your communication and interest in the course.
