Remarks
I had to give an entrance test known as SET and followed by PI WAT. It was pretty easy and the process was smoothly conducted by the college. SET is an MCQ based test on aptitude, English, general knowledge, and logical reasoning. After qualifying that the applicants will be invited to PI WAT
Course Curriculum Overview
I had taken double specialization in the field of Finance & Accounting and Marketing. They pretty much cover most of the topics that come under these areas. SCMS, Pune has some good faculty but they could still work on getting better faculty and improving methods of teaching.
Internships Opportunities
We have a cell for internships. It is known as the internship development cell, this cell works together with the placement body. They try and bring various placement opportunities for the students throughout the year
Placement Experience
SCMS, Pune provides placements to its students. They have good companies in respective fields coming in. The pay ranges from 3 LPA to 10 LPA. But most of them are around 5 LPA. Most of the students who apply for placements get placed
Fees and Financial Aid
The Fee was almost 3LPA all 3 years. Usually, it is asked in two installments but during covid times we were asked to pay it in 3 installments. They give one month time to pay the particular installment.
Campus Life
SCMS, Pune has several clubs and activities that happen throughout the year. Clubs provide huge exposure to the students and it was a very good learning experience to be part of the club. Other than clubs a fest conducted by students itself is among big learning opportunities.
Interview Experience
There was no group discussion. But I had to write an essay on a given topic. Later there was an interview. The interview was completely based on personal information that I filled in my application. It was friendly and smooth.
