The admission process was good. The students were selected based on the SET entrance exam score + PI score + WAT score. The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is conducted by Symbiosis University for all courses together, and further students have the option to select the preferred colleges and courses of interest for further process. All shortlisted candidates from SET have to appear in person for an Interview + Written Ability Test, marks of which are considered for the merit list. All students getting 50% or more in the class XII board examination are eligible for applying for admission.

The course curriculum is everything to the point and related to the business world. Most of the different business aspects are included in the syllabus in one way or other like Basic Business knowledge to Accounting and Financial Management to HR Management to Marketing to International Business to Entrepreneurship and Environmental Management. There is a good student-to-teacher ratio. There is a continuous evaluation methodology followed throughout the semesters in various forms like tests, presentations, assignments, research projects, and more.

The college's Placement Cell and Internship Cells do keep looking out for internship opportunities with various corporates, and help the interested students with the process. However, the students are free to look out for internships directly too.

The students are eligible for sittings for Placements in the 3rd year, subject to minimum GPA achieved, and some other conditions. Major companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and others come to SCMS Pune during Placements.

The Tuition Fees of college are about Rs 3 lakhs per annum, apart from other expenses like hostel charges, mess charges, etc. The fees are hiked by about 10% every year. So overall about Rs 9 - 10 lakhs is the fees for 3 years, plus other living expenses.

College Life is good. There are a lot of clubs to participate in. And then there is an annual college fest SYMPULSE, a 3-5 day mega event, which is one of the biggest in the city, where several colleges and students compete in various events related to Sports, Business, Cultural, MUN, and Music, etc. The students get great management experience while working and organizing the fest.

Yes, there is an Entrance exam, followed by a Personal Interview and a Written Ability Test to be completed for admission. In the SET exam, there are MCQs on Quantitative Knowledge, GK, LR, and English. The shortlisted students then are called for an interview, where the prior academic and extra-curricular record is enquired about, apart from general stuff. In the WAT, an essay or a debate and/or a picture description needs to be written.
