Remarks
CET exam is required for admission if from Karnataka otherwise COMED-K. All of the application details and forms can be found on the official cet website. The admissions process is simple and clear and it takes a few days to complete.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose ISE because of the good faculty and scope for the subject. There are around 10-15 teachers in each department and around 60-70 students. All teachers are well qualified and very passionate about teaching, they are also friendly to approach. The 3 internals are scheduled over three months with enough time to prepare for them.
Internships Opportunities
The college definitely encourages students to get their internships, it provides for resources to get internships. It also provides internships to companies like lab2market. Since the VTU curriculum is a little hectic it might be difficult to find an internship compatible with your time frame.
Placement Experience
95% of eligible students get placed, as long as the student is able to maintain the eligibility criteria then the college will definitely try its best to get you placed. The median salary is 3.5 lacs and companies like MindTree, ct, IBM, etc are frequent recruiters.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for students joining through cet is fixed by the government and it is usually affordable because they prescribe the amount considering all the facts. The college does help you in finding and applying for scholarships. Even the fees through other ways are mostly affordable compared to most colleges in Bangalore.
Campus Life
Every year we have a cultural fest called Sanchalana, a tech fest called tech vidya, an elaborate celebration of rajyostava. And many others events conducted throughout the year. Most of the books required will be available in the library. Sports and culture are always encouraged. The college also allows students to make clubs and help the students to run them.
