Remarks

The admission was very smooth. I took CAT and got 96.6 percentile and then had a single round of PI. The unique value proposition of the college is the small batch size which helps you build close relationships and helps improve your personality. In terms of placement, the small batch size gives you ample opportunity.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in doing MBA from a college with a better ROI. The course curriculum is very comprehensive and up to the business standards. The faculty to the student is very good for every 5 students we have one faculty. Faculties have done their PhD from world renowned Universities. The exams are conducted 4 times per year. The exams are more practical and it's quite easy to pass. The grading system is very good at SJMSOM

Class Size: 114Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is semester wise and the total fees are 11. 8 lakhs. At least 20% of the batch gets scholarships from various funds and esteemed business personalities. The campus job opportunities are also very much. The hike for a fee is supposed to happen this year and then the total cost will become 14 lakhs. The scholarship is from abg and reliance. I got a job at eBay with a stipend of 2.5 lakhs.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is very happening due to the small batch size almost every batchmate becomes your friend you meet as a stranger but leave the college as a family. Every clubs are there almost the whole batch is part of one or the other club. We have access to the IITb library which has all the subscriptions. All the infrastructure of iit Bombay is open for SJMSOM students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

Good post graduate program with strong cirriculum

Remarks:

Overall, I would say that I think this is a very unique course being offered by SP Jain and they are very strict with the submission timelines and quality of work. This is definitely is not a run off the mill part time MBA. The institute makes sure you sweat to earn your degree, respectfully!

Review for SJMSOM, IIT BOMBAY

I appeared for CAT in 2020, post which I received interview calls from MDI, IIM's, VGSOM, SJMSOM, DMS etc. The admission criteria of the open category for SJMSOM, IIT BOMBAY was more than 60% in 10th and 12th which had a weightage of 5%. There was 5% weightage to the graduation scores and 10% to gender diversity too. Post filling the form I got an interview call and was also allotted a buddy to help clear any doubts regarding the interview process. The interview was held on a platform & each candidate was allowed to log in and interact with the platform a day prior to the interview. On the day of the interview, there were two main procedures document verification and the actual PI. We were assigned to a buddy in batches of 20 who would personally take us to our respective procedure.
