BIET is a good college but not obviously not better than IIT/NIT.

To get admission into BIET Jhansi, there was an entrance exam named UPSEE but now college is taking admissions on the basis of the result of JEE Mains. I was having rank around 5476 which is under the eligibilty criteria to get Mechanical Engineering in BIET Jhansi. If you are from OBC , SC , ST then you will definitely get some relief in the cutoff.

I choose Mechanical engineering because I have a lot of interest in this field that how the engine works and all these kinds of things. There is around a 10:1 faculty: student ratio. Faculties are very good and highly qualified, they have enough knowledge in their respective fields. We have to give our exams per semester ( two times a year ), and exams are quite difficult but having good faculties, the branch has above 80% pass percentage.

In mechanical engineering, the fee is around 70k per year resulting in approx 280000 for your whole graduation. If you are from lower cast background then you will definitely get your scholarship in which you will get your whole tuition fee as a return.

There are many events, fests here to get participants, like forums for every respective branch, Abhinanda for freshers, etc. students get the facility of the library having almost all types of books. the college also focuses on sports activities, there is ground on the campus, courts for basketball, badminton, etc with good enough facilities. the college has different clubs and societies like TDL ( the drone learners ), Mercenary motorsports club, Mechatronics club, etc.

college have nice hostels with mess facility, hostels have their personal wi-fi which is available for students for free The mess has a good enough quality of food and in taste also. during the admission process, there will be an option for a hostel, if you will take a hostel then its fee that is around 14000 will be added to your fee.
