Remarks

I went to the college physically and filled out the application form and took their admission test ALCAT and then went through an interview round to get selected. They asked pretty decent questions from a wide area. I was from a science background so they mostly asked science-related questions with some gk and current affairs.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I am fully motivated to become a lawyer in the supreme court so that's why I chose this program to pursue that dream it is very nice here with the teachers, they are very supportive and cooperative. Term exams are holding place by the end of the semester and I'm currently preparing for those as of now as this is my first semester.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Internships are provided from the college side itself. They'll provide any chances to the students to get selected in the partnered companies to get the students internships into them but I don't know about the internship part also right now.

Placement Experience

3.5

I don't know about this as of now as this is my very first semester here in college but listening to the seniors that placements are good here. If you maintain a good GPA and perform well in academics then you'll surely select for the campus placements. Some campus visiting companies are HCL, HP, AMBUJA, ADITYA BIRLA GROUP, WOW MOMO, and many more. The highest package was 1.6 crores.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees demanded is I'd say are very reasonable because other colleges are also having the lump sum of the same fee structure but this college provides 5 diploma courses as a cherry on top which runs side by side with the curriculum. It provides the students an upper hand to get a good job and get selected in the placements.

Campus Life

3

Yeah, this is the point where all the students are feeling the same way because sports facilities are not good here. A lot of times you'll need to struggle to get the essentials of the sport and most importantly there is no sports period in the whole week time table where you can play sports. Classrooms are good though, AC's are working well in summers and all. And now talking about clubs, here are ALOT of clubs guys. More than 20 cells and departments are there to participate in and many of them are students operated such as moot court club.

Other Applied Colleges

Lloyd Law College , BHU, Amity Noida | BALLB

Amity and BHU doesn't provide any extra diplomas

Course Curriculum Overview:

There has lot of visits like court visit, parliament visit, etc The curriculum provides a basic foundation of theoretical knowledge that is useful for understanding core concepts and for pursuing further academic studies, such as higher education or competitive examinations. It helps develop analytical thinking and subject awareness. There is significant scope for improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The syllabus should be updated regularly to include recent developments, practical modules, project-based learning, internships, workshops, and skill-enhancement courses.Examinations are conducted frequently in the form of internal assessments, mid-semester exams, and end-semester exams, which sometimes creates academic pressure for students. The timing of exams is often closely packed, leaving limited time for proper preparation and revision. In terms of difficulty, the exams are generally of moderate level, though some subjects are challenging due to lengthy syllabi and conceptual depth.

Pre placements starts from 4th year and post placements too happens as those who remain to get any placements are also assisted. Law jobs are anyways less so percentage of students getting jobs is also quite less as batch size is also 100+.

Corporate Law is a subjects but no corporate placements as law firms were the sole contributors of our university. They gave as many placements as 30% students were placed and that too with very thin packages. So, university needs to fix this just like they have fixed every single thing at the campus.

Placement Experience:

Placements for Law are not comparable to the tech courses so far at GLA. Every year combining BBA LLB and BA LLB around 300 and I don't think even 100 are placed. So, GLA University will have to find a way to get atleast half the students find placements here and because I know my chances of getting placements are slim, I will be opting for doing LLM after I am done with LLB in 2027.

Placement Experience:

The college provide students with PDF lectures which focuses on personality development which includes confidence building, speaking and listening skills, etc. They also give tips for a better resume and how to give interview and prepare us for interviews by organising mock interviews. 5th year students are the focused students for the campus placement. Some students choose to be an advocate and others may prepare for higher studies and or prepare for judiciary and other civil services examinations. I personal preference to go for the one field which can open my ways for other field stoo.

Yes they do provide campus placement last year only almost 70 students were offered jobs in campus placement. But in our case most of the students have their own plans like the majority of them are generational lawyers so either they'll join their firms or they have very good contacts so they'll get places easily but in my case as a first generation lawyer we do get internship or assessment internship in which we get very good chances to get PPO they we don't have to relay on college for campus placement. In my case if i didn't get campus placement then wherever I've done my internship I'll try to convert my internship into a PPO

Placement Experience:

Students from third year have started getting Pre-Placement Offers, but many of those are majorly due to their own accomplishments. Students get ample amount of time to intern at various law firms and courts, to secure a PPO on their own. In addition to this, the Internship and Placement Committee, often comes in aid to secure PPOs for the students of the graduating batch.
