IIT Bhilai Review

I want to complete my M.Tech degree from IIT and as per my academics and GATE score, I was meeting the cutoff criteria of IIT Bhilai. IIT Bhilai has made a name for the CSE program the college is popular for its CSE program and placement for CSE. To be part of IIT Bhilai I have to pass the GATE exam I have already passed the exam and must secure a minimum of 60% marks and I have secured 67% in B.Tech. To be part of IIT Bhilai I have to fill out the admission form from the college website by paying the amount Rs. 200/- online. The plus point was I don't have to avail of an education loan because the college M.Tech program was within my budget.

The curriculum of the college is as per the IIT standards means it follows all the international industrial standards and norms. The computer labs of the college are modern and have the latest computers. The curriculum is designed to impart us the knowledge of coding language and the importance of coding and technology in the industry and how the technology is dependent on coding. The curriculum properly gives us insight and the importance of coding in the current technological era.

The internship is mandatory for us and we are eligible for the internship after completing the first year of our program. The college invites good companies for internships and they help us to choose the company according to our interests. Around 20+ companies visited our campus for the internship program. Internships are good opportunities for us to learn about the corporate world and to take some professional experience.

As per the new IIT still, the college provides good placement for CSE. The college placement committee is very cooperative and helpful. The college placement committee not only guides but helps us to choose a good company for us and helps us in every round of placement. The highest package for our batch was around 20 LPA and the average package was approx 9.50 LPA. Some of my batchmates received pre-placement offers during the internship program. Companies like Robert Bosch, CDAC, VMWare, GSoC, IITs, Carrier Midea, Think Future Technologies, Amazon, Commvault, Paytm, Air Asia, ABB, TCS Research Innovation, L&T, Reliance Jio, etc visited our campus during the placement drive.

Scholarship on a merit basis is also available and scholarship for SC/ST/PWD is also available. I can take care of my college fee expense so I did not apply for any scholarship. To know more about the college scholarship program you need to visit the college's official website.

The campus life of the college is good. The college host number of fest and events. The college also organizes quiz competitions, debate competitions, art, and music competition for us. The college infrastructure is good and well maintained. The college library is full of books from different kinds of authors. The seniors and the administrative staff of the college are very cooperative and friendly. Ragging is strictly banned in the college.

The hostel rooms are good enough and are well maintained. The hostel wardens and the staff is professional. The rooms have LAN connectivity for internet connection and 24 hours of high-speed WiFi connectivity is also available. Heavy-duty washing machines are available for us to access on every floor of the hostel for laundry. The hostel food is good and tasty. The hostel provides us with all types of facilities.

The faculty average age is between 35 to 45. The faculty are mostly young and from the top-notch university of India like IIMs and top-rated IITs. The faculty teaching methods are easy and simple they make sure that the class is properly hooked in class in is able to understand every concept clearly. We can easily approach the faculty to clear our doubts and they also help us to clear the doubts.
