Remarks

The good highlight is that we have a very good and world-class infrastructure facility which is commendable. A good place to learn and a chance to grow.

Entrance Preview

I had given VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Examination) through which I got a call for admission procedure happening in VIT Vellore. I got a 1620 rank in VITEEE in all India. I come to know about the entrance from the VIT website. VIT has a good reputation among other private colleges, it is a deemed university. I had chosen B TECH civil engineering as a course as i am interested in structures.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is very good and systematic, you have FFCS(Fully Flexible Credit System) in VIT which I felt is much better than another regular system.

Internships Opportunities

Talking about internship college provide final year internship program where IT companies like WIPRO provide internship + long time offer. The stipend varies from 2000 to 6000rs.

Placement Experience

Placement is very good, making new limca book of records every year. Then you have dream companies like Flipkart, Amazon, endurance, PayPal, and many more. Offer varies from 22 lakhs p.a from dream companies to 3.5 lakh p.a by IT company. Almost all get placed in VIT.

College Events

Yes, we do have fests, we have Rivera(VIT University's very own International Sports and Cultural fest) and Gravitas(annual technical fest). Both are some of the biggest and known carnivals of India. We have participants from all over India.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the college has tied up Indian banks for providing loan facilities without much hassle. Then we have Performance, Scholarship( Toppers of each State Board and Central Board, 100% Tuition fee waiver for all the four years) at the time of admission.

Campus Life

Gender ratio almost equal. Talking about diversity VIT has students from all over India of different religions and we all share a common bond of vittians.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels facility is good as there are many blocks each having its own mess facility. In every block, you have both north Indian and south Indian food available. In hostels, you have 3and 4 bunker bedrooms. Average hostels cost is 76000rs for non-ac and 13

Yes, the network is quite good. They come to VIT during placements to provide students tips and tricks that they should follow during recruitment procedures.

Faculty

We have many professors who are Ph.D. holders who can help and guide you in the research field. Professors here give an extra effort to make the student understand each and every topic and make use of modern technology to enhance the understanding procedure.

DRNGPIT is a tough gig to survive!!

Campus placements happens and happens usually from September to December. Every student's are asked to appear for the interview rounds and these opportunities are provided to us in our second last semester. Mostly all are placed before the final semester of theirs.

You know everyone first priority would be going into the iits or nits if you won't get a seat there you search deemed to be colleges like vit amity , I choose vit as my college over iiit sri city which I got seat in it because vit has more exposure than iiit sricity and the main choosing vit was you get good college life with a beautiful campus, the people surrounded in vit are more better and knowledable compared to other colleges like amity, amrita,satyabamma and I aslo thought of going into amity and but I am that I am in vit I think it's better in every corner from that as per placements, college life and even faculty . Amity university Noida,Delhi technological University in delhi , Jamia Millia Islamia in Delhi. I applied this college for my admission. But i dont get because of mark. In all subject.
