Eligibility of the degree is H.S, the maximum percentage of biology is 80%. The application form will be found on the website of Katwa college. They need to improve the classrooms. And facilities of the teachers.
Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to be a professor or a teacher of this particular subject. In this subject, we can gain knowledge about the human body. We become to know about the human body. We also become to know how much difficult to be a doctor. There were 25 students in our department. The teachers of the department are amazing. They gave us knowledge about this subject. The teaching methods are also too good. We were amazed every single day by their teaching methods and the quality of teachers. There are many instruments and microscopes for practical examination. Although the subject is tough the technique of teaching of those teachers helps us too much.
Fees and Financial Aid
You don't have to pay a big amount. You have to pay approx 3000-3500 or less per semester. There is 6 semester in the 3-year degree course. There is some scholarship like Swami Vivekananda, Nabanna, Kanyashree, etc. There is no campusing in this college. After this B.Sc degree, you have to apply for an M.Sc degree then you have to give examinations like NET, SET for Ph.D. If you clear the examination then you can get a chance for research, after completing your Ph.D. you can become a Scientist or a professor. I just try to give some short information.
Campus Life
Yes in this department 1 st year students have to arrange the world Magazine of the department. 2 nd year students have to arrange for a Reunion of the department. And 3 rd year students have to arrange teachers day. And the College authority arranges a big welcome for the freshers. Students have to apply for a Library card, after getting the library card they can take every book that they want.
