Remarks
The admission process was totally online. I was admitted through CET score, my score was 89. You have to fill the colleges according to your preference after the results of the entrance examination are declared and verify all the documents from the facilitation centres provided by the authorities. Enough time is given for the whole admission process as there are three rounds for admission and once you get pass the cut off you need to visit the college and do the admission process according to the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Honestly, I didn't choose this course as my CET marks were less, I was given this college by the cutoff. As I wanted to do engineering I went for the Civil branch. The teaching in our college is average, teachers are supportive but they stick to the curriculum and I think that should improve. There can be many improvements in the teaching process telling us more practical things that is really applicable in this competitive world outside. Exams were I would say easy to pass if you study properly and regularly.
Internships Opportunities
Not a few Internships were offered by the college. As it is Civil branch we are mostly on our own, unlike the IT branch where much help by the college is offered. I did one internship that was good and I gained knowledge. There are no such good companies of Internship to name, they were local builders from Vasai and palghar side.
Fees and Financial Aid
As I was admitted in the Tuition fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS) in spite of being open caste, my total fees were about 12000 per year as there are criteria of 3 seats in each branch for open caste for economic weaker students from the open category. For this, we need an income certificate and this needs to be done and filled out while filling out the form.
Campus Life
Due to this covid situation, I only attended the college for about 2 years from my 4 but I can give a clear idea about the amenities. There is not much space for sports and equipment for the same. The library is quite good and a wide range of books are available for each and every branch. Quite a few extras curricular and social activities are done that benefits the students and is a good thing. Each classroom has a projector and a whiteboard that's not an issue.
