12th Qualified Students with MATH compulsory and with a minimum 60% can Apply for Information Technology at St Xavier's College Ranchi on their official website by paying RS 800 of the Application form. The form will be online latest by April-May of every year. Selection will be made on the merit list. There is no entrance due to covid After covid, there may or may not. The Selected student name will be published on the college website after a few weeks Then You will be called for documents verification and fee submission and now you are the Student of Xaviers. NOTE: The selection list will be published at max 3 times So don't wait after that. And Also didn't Expect Your name on the list if you have scored less than 70% in Your 12th BOARDS.

The course covers all the Necessary Topics with which you can score well enough in Semesters exams but if you want to be pro in coding then you will have to take references from the Internet. The faculty is good and experienced They all are from a technical background and hold M.Tech, MCA degrees. HOD is very cooperative. There will be 6 mid-sem exams and 6 End-sem and You will study even before the exams schedule is out you are great enough to pass and most important Exams were taken in offline mode only and Examiners are very strict so don't dare to think about cheating if you caught then you will be directly expelled from that particular year.

Mainly non-technical roles were offered to students as we are doing BSC IT. service-based companies mainly offer Jobs to students. very few product-based companies visit here so try to go for MCA for better opportunities.

From the 5th Semester, Students are eligible for campus placements, Companies like TCS, Wipro, Deloitte start visiting from the 5th semester onwards You will be placed easily if you have enough knowledge about your subjects. The max companies offer is 3-4L annually. Last year about 70% of students got placed and avg package was 2.5L. Most of the students do not opt for placement as they will pursue higher studies after Graduation.

Fees are not that high. it is affordable 52k Annually for General Students and 45k Annually for BC-I, SC, ST Students. There are mainly 2-3 Scholarships you can fill first E-Kalyan and NSP for minorities Students. Internships and placements options are available in Our college but most of the students opt for higher studies. companies like TCS, Wipro, Deloitte visit here and offer 3-4L max. Last year 60-70% of Students get placed of Our department. There is a placement cell in our college that will help you throughout your placement.

Every year Xavier Fest is Organised at the Beginning of the year but due to covid, it is stopped from last 2 years. You can Join NCC and NSS in our college for Personality Development also there are some more clubs like Rotaract that will give you opportunities. to explore your different Qualities like singing dancing writing and will get opportunities to learn leadership skills Social services and many more. the library has enough books you can easily issue from the library by paying just 1 rupee.
