First, you have to write JEE mains if you are qualified then you have to write JEE advanced. Based on Advanced rank you can opt for college in JOSAA based on your preferences for college. You will have 2 mock rounds where you'll get a picture about which of the preference you may get and you can change preferences here. There will be 6-7 rounds of counseling after each round you will have options like freeze, float. If you get a seat then you will have to pay 35,000 as a seat allotment fee and submit relevant documents for verification.

I am interested in Electronics so I took Electronics and Communication Engineering at IIT BBS. All of the faculty are research scholars. Teaching methods vary according to faculty. As for Exams we only have mid-sem exams(30% weightage) and end-sem (50% weightage) and the remaining 20% is based on attendance, class tests, or project. Even if you just listen to classes properly you'll pass.

You must do either an Internship or a project because in 7th we have Industrial Training which is a 2 credit you'll have to do a ppt based on what you have done in your internship or project. Just like placements, many companies have come for internships like Amazon, Ceramorphics, etc which you can apply for given roles.

Placements will start for students of the 7th semester. For us, Day-0 started a bit late because of Covid. A lot of companies like Godman Sachs, Toppr, Flipkart, BYJU's, Analog devices, Ceramorphics, silicon Labs, Mathworks, STL, etc have visited and for ECE we got 100% placed this year.

Every semester you'll have to pay 1,15,000 for college and 14,000 for the hostel. College fees have 1,00,000 tuition fees and 15,000 miscellaneous. One can apply for a scholarship like Tuition fee remission or Merit-cum-means(MCM) where you'll be getting a 1,00,000 tuition fee back for tuition fee remission and a 1,00,000+some additional amount for MCM. Application opening, deadline, required documents, and procedure will be notified via mail.

We mainly have 3 annual fest's namely Wissenaire (Technical fest), Alma fiesta (cultural fest), E-Summit (Entrepreneurship) which will be held mostly in January and February months. A lot of events will be happening every month lie Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat, etc. There are a lot of Clubs like Clic (photographic), RISC (robotic), D-gang (dance), etc. and for sports, for 1st-year students, there's EAA one can either take a game or NSS you'll have 3 hours a week and it is a 1 credit course. You can play other times as well. And a lot of competitions will be held like inter-year, GC and can participate in outside competitions as well.

A single room for each person and a table, a chair will be provided with a locker. Good meal quality you can write a complaint you if you feel the quality is poor. The only disadvantage is residential area is a bit far from the academic area which at least takes a 15-20 min walk or you can go by cycle.
