Admission into +3 classes and +2 Classes made through an online process adopted by SAMS for different colleges in the state of Odisha. The advertisements are made on newspapers, online websites, and college notice boards. Then the students go to College to addmission the deposit fees. Then their class is started.

+3 every student should have 75 percent attendence of Available classes to appear in the end term semester examination. The examination pattern is called the CBCS examination pattern. It consists of six semister. Every year students have to appear for two semesters. The final result published by the University taking performance of six semister.

There is no placement in college. Students apply for jobs whichever they want to choose as their profession. There are not so good placement offers because college comes under Sambalpur University so they do not provide direct placement.

Under a central government scheme, we get yearly scholarships under NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP. Also a laptop by the state government for those who get 1st division in +2 examination. But college didn't provide any specific scholarship for students by their side.

Municipal college took its birth under the auspices of Rourkela Education Development Society. The college has been accredited by NAAC in 2016. It is in receipt of the world bank sponsored institutional development grant under the programme Odisha higher education program. In NCC, sports, games, functions, farewell parties, welcome party Is excelled continuously providing Many types of sports competitions are held in college like inter-college cricket, football, badminton, chess, etc. and many competition like speech, jhoti, drawing, essay, drama, etc are held in college.
